son of a! I don't have a processor, ram, or gpu yet...but don't want to miss this deal considering this is always OOS. Also, don't want it to sit in a box for months chipping away at the warranty
Thanks! Been trying to get one of these for the last month as it seems like the best x570 mobo to get for the 5900X if you want to overclock while not breaking the bank. Just got a used one off Amazon for $200 that I will return. Who knows why the last guy returned it.
Damn, after my motherboard died I held out for a solid month for one of these to come back in stock before picking up the MSI MEG X570 Unify. If this would have popped up during that month I would have snagged it for sure. However, the LED error readout on the Unify has already came in handy...looks like my video card may be on its way out.
All the research I've done this apparently is one of the best $200 ish boards. It really doesn't seem far off from the TUF however and I've seen that hit as low as 148. Just picked up the Wi-Fi version for 160 last month.
Also the Tomahawk has the ability to flash the BIOS without a CPU installed. This is important as out of the box they may not support the 5000 series CPUs depending on what BIOS it shipped with. This means you need an older Ryzen CPU installed to update the BIOS.

Excellent info - just purchased for my future 5900X!
Great board, I wanted it but it was out of stock or too expensive, so I went up to the Unify, which I just got today. This is a great board to use for a AM4 build though!

It's important to note that the tier list solely judges boards by VRM quality and how much power it can push. It's mainly a factor that I think overclockers look at. Even with the tomahawk is listed in the high end of A tier, it doesn't have some features more expensive boards have like wifi/bluetooth, more USB connections.. etc. For a 220~ dollar board, it's very good, but expect less features than a 300 dollar board it contends with to have.

I heard this motherboard is much better due to its VRMS
