You can buy the R-SIMs off ebay/amazon and they are usually $10 give or take.
It works reasonably well and the wiki talks about how to operate it, the only challenge is sometimes iOS updates break it and sometimes you need a new ICCID but for the most part it's great and allows you to use a SIM locked phone with any provider. and in this case you dont have to wait 180 days with Cricket to get an unlock code.
Keep in mind it is unlike the factory unlocking process which is permanent. Here you are dependent always on the R-SIM.
back in the day it also went by the name Gevey SIM.

I emailed them no reply, their customer service phone is useless
Sent two iphones but got money for only one. There is no update for other iphone past 3 weeks
i already have a group plan and the phone for this deal is on a single line. my refer a friend credit came in today. do i just merge? i have no use for the line other than to get the discount for the phone.

If you get it, after you pop in the RSIM with your carrier sim, a menu of 4 or 5 items shows; I picked the option "ICCID ... Perfectly" (can't remember all the words) and entered the ICCID below.

The ease of it after trying everything imaginable with the scam one was funny. "surely it can't be that easy" hahaha Turned phone on/off, removed SIM and reinserted, etc. Still unlocked
Only thing I haven't tried is an erase and reinstall of the iOS (which I need to do soon anyway). I can update with results afterward but it may be a few weeks.

i already made the payment to remove the suspension. i do have a bill due on the 22nd of feb. i do plan on getting i unlocked but not sure how that would affect it. can i still cancel my line without having to pay it?
also, if anyone knows a good source to get it unlocked without paying it for 6 months, pease PM me!

You can put your group line SIM card in this iPhone SE 2020 in order to get it unlocked after the phone -- not the single line number -- was recorded to have been used on Cricket Wireless for ~180 days.

Similar thing happened with me too. Their support system is very lame. It took around 4 weeks for them to resolve my issue but they only refunded partial amount. No explanation given. I just gave up and closed one of the line before that.
