Doesn't it need to be outside of T-mobile for 12 months or something? Can you move them that quickly?
I heard 60 days from a Costco rep who sounded like he knew what he was talking about.

My current setup on iPhone 11. No hassle.
Thanks. Can you tell me how to do that? I read somewhere that on the iPhone 12 dial sim can't handle 5G?

Thanks. Could you let me know how to do that?
I have my main line using esim and free line using the physical SIM card slot. It doesn't matter which way you do it. Then under Settings - Cellular - Cellular Data - Here select which line you want to use data.

To set up esim, I have always just gone through T-fore. They will walk you through setting up esim. It is pretty straightforward and easy to do so don't worry about that.

All I can say is - we've been with T-Mobile for 5 years- and they were GREAT until about 6 months ago. Now the CSRs will misinform you, and sign you up for a line, when your plan doesn't allow it. When you start getting billed for the line, and whatever other charges T-Mobile adds, they will promise you credits, then not always issue them. You'll get their "personal guarantee" (which has no legal meaning), after you finally finish the call. I've spent an hour and 10 minutes on hold waiting for a human to answer (and a bunch of somewhat shorter hold times), then more than an hour trying to get a resolution for a problem. My longest time on the phone with them has been 2hours, 44 minutes, and the shortest was 27 minutes. I've spent about 10 hours total adding the line, then trying to fix the damage they caused, in about 10 phone calls. It seems that since the Sprint merger went through, their word doesn't mean much, and the answers their "EXPERTS" provide aren't worth much. Honestly, I don't know whether Verizon or AT&T are better at this point, but I doubt they could be worse.
If you are grandfathered in the special promo plan which you signed up before, it could be a mess when you do a change since there are so many plans even t-mobile agents are not familiar with. A lot people just stay away from doing anything to their grandfathered plans, it could be a hit and miss when you do something with your old plan.

Really awesome idea honestly. Thanks so much. So I would have to pop in a SIM card tomorrow when I do the free line right?

How can your bill be 40 dollar for 3 lines of T-Mobile one plan?
How to send screenshots here? And yes that's how much I pay every month for 3 lines. Is this worth the hassle ? If this is true. I'd be paying $40 for 4 lines. Omg. I'm afraid it'll f up my original plan.

This is why you have to really only go through T-force. I do so even knowing that the response times aren't the best lately. The reps are a better that through other avenues and you have written documentation of each interaction. Still depends on the rep but more times they have been great.

I had an issue with the last free line in Nov and the pixel promotion not apply. Last Rep looked into things, scheduled a check in a week later, and when the issue was still there credited my account for the value of the promo with no issues.

I've never had any problems with T-MOBILE. Never wait on line, press one, they'll callyou back. They've given me free lines and I'd any issues , always resolved very professionally and quickly. I don't know of any I bet carrier that gives you free lines. We were with ATT before and cust .serv was very bad and our bill was about $50 more , every month plus $27 of fees and taxes. It to mention ATT doesn't have free international roaming and one could return home with a huge cell phone bill. We left ATT years ago and never looked back.

Yes that's true currently. But they would be enabling 5G on dual Sim via software updates.

If your esim is free/open, I think you can just have them set up the free line onto the esim right then and there tomorrow.

But, if you are using the esim already, then they would send you a SIM card if you don't have one already.

So true (that's why we have such an old checking account for example). And that's why I called them three times before going ahead. YES- three "Experts" told me it would not mess up our deal.
