Anyone know the maximum number of lines for T-mobile ONE? I have 8, one of which is the FREE LINE ON US from before. When I try to add a line, I get the message that it's time to upgrade my plan to Magenta at a cost of $100 more.

I have the old T-Mobile One. I have a total of 8 voice lines with 2 tablets and 1 watch. I've taken advantage of every single free line promo except for the one from September 2020. I tried calling into T-Mobile and they are saying I don't qualify since I would be over the 8 lines. Is anyone else having this issue when they are going from the 8th to 9th voice line? I am also still waiting to hear back from T-Force.
They moved me to the 9-12 plan for tmobile one from the last promo

This is concerning as no one has posted a screenshot showing this free line as "2020 Line On Us 4" as OP stated.

I got the same message. I am hoping to hear back from T-Force to see if this is possible to get the 9th line free. Everywhere I am seeing is that the T-Mobile One line can have up to 12 voice lines.

You might need to speak with a rep, the rate code for 9 lines should be TIULFM9.

Same here with 8 lines. When I try to add a line online or via the app, I get a message that I need to upgrade to Magenta, for about $100 more per month.

If you're doing it at Costco it's free for the sim and activation

Congrats! you will receive your promotion service discount from t-mobile as long as your maintain eligibility....

Anyone get the same thing?
On t-mobile one plan, this line would be 10th line, i did it via phone call earlier, did the Nov line on us.
Not a good sign but try to chat xforce to confirm. Keep the chat transcript / screenshot.

I think yours didn't stick because you added 2 lines on the same promo line on us 2.
My point was one cannot have the same named promo even though at first it appeared confirmed online. If you notice the people w/ 12/20 free line promo said theirs appear "Line on Us 3 $40" (basically like how mine showed back in Sept). The point is if the promo name (or SOC) is the same, it will not stick unless Tmobile makes exception for this 12/20 somehow. The system has never allowed same name or SOC promo to stick is my point despite how many times the reps kept adding it back.

So what I'm wondering is how do we know for sure 12/20 is not some sort of continuation for 12/20 free line? I'll be happy to take another free line but I have Line on Us 3 from 11/25 and waiting for solid confirmation that 12/20 is not a "continuation" of 11/25 (same SOC code). So far no one can provide solid evidence, so I'm just going w/ my own very recent experience. I'll just wait 24-48h and hope someone can confirm their "combined Line on Us 3" stick or changes to Line on Us 4 or something....

Maybe they have different T-Mobile ONE plans.

Confirmed that "2020 Line On Us 4" works for my very old "Simple Choice North America 6GB Family Match" plan.

I also scored a Free T-Mobile Proxy/Digit Line.

Thanks for sharing the awesome deal.

Contact Tforce and they can change to FRLTULFM9 with 12 line max.

If costco byod isn't eligible, I'd rather save the headache and just re-activate an old sim with the free line.

Anyone know if a sim card de-activated in the past month is still usable. I updated my sister's line to the newer 5G-SA R15 sim card, so still have her old one.
