What Do I Need To Do To Get This Offer?
  • This is a targeted offer from T-Mobile and is only open to select existing customers that meet the following requirement:
    • You must have a qualifying T-Mobile postpaid plan with 2 or more lines that falls under one of the following SOC Codes shown in this image (see instructions below on how to find your SOC code).
      • SOC (Service Order Code): The technical term used to describe plans and services that are added to customers' accounts within T-Mobile's billing systems.
    • If you are certain you qualify, login to your account below and:
    • Alternatively, you may call T-Mobile and a representative can assist you with adding your 3rd line.
      • If calling, promotion name is "2020 Line On Us 4".
Instructions to find your SOC code (thanks to Reddit user massiveprodigy):
  1. Using the Google Chrome web browser (desktop version), open the Developer tools panel on the right (Ctrl+Shift+I)
  2. Click on Network tab

  4. Log in my.t-Mobile.com and click Account at the top.

I wouldn't worry about the discount showing under the plan. There are 2 other places one can check.
When I added the free line yesterday, it shows under the account history as new line added to my account on certain date, and this line is on XXXX plan for $0.0 per month plus taxes and fees. It also shows as $0.00 under the new line.

If you go through T-force, it will be in writing also that the line is free.

To all the people out there, free phones do not stack with this current free line promo. Any rep out there telling you it does is lying to you and is just trying to get a sale. They don't care if they are wrong or not, they just want to hit their numbers. Whatever happens in the future is your problem when you end up paying for the "free line" because you thought you could stack a free phone with it. T mobile learned from their mistakes from the Sept line on us 2.

So if you only have 2 lines on FRLTUL2LP, you should be able to add this third line free, since the max number of lines on the account is 3.

You are wrong. A paperwork signed online for the free phone is a contract between you and TMobile. A follow up email confirms that. There is no way that T Mobile will charge you in the future. Whether or not you can get the deal is a different story.

My suggestion is to switch to Essential if you don't really travel outside of the country or use tethering much. I switched earlier this year and got two free lines already
