Finally understand why I am not qualified.

The rate plan that you are on:
USCFM4
4 lines $150
additional lines are $30 per line

The other rate plan
USCMF4L
4 lines for $180
additional lines are $40 per line

Your plan was the promotional plan with a discounted price. ^ShaniquaC

i am on original 55+ Tmobile ONE unlimited plan, 2 lines with auto pay for $60 total/month more than 3 years.
everytime the free line promo comes up, I am always told it's not qualified!!

but again, every time in the thread, here or on reddit, there are always people in the same plan said they got it!!

i chatted with Tmobile yesterday and the rep said he heard me (i told him about this and so many other plans that got free lines with discount that came out much cheaper than my plan LOL), and even he wanted to give the free line to me, there's just no way the system would allow him to do it!!

so i really don't know how those people in the same plan said they get it.

also, so many people got so many lines for free through all these years, just this year, some got 4 already and they said they don't know what to do with those free lines!!
i just wish I can have one more line for free, that's all I want but it seems never gonna happen with this plan LOL
For 55+ plans, they do not give 3rd free line unless you are close to 2 years on the plan

If I add the line via Tmobile app and pay the $10 sim card will it automatically be a free line? (Yes, my SOC is eligible). I just want to make sure bc the app says pay $10 sim now and $20 monthly for the line. But the line will show $20 discount once they ship the sim, right?

I went through this last free line promo..

I was told I got both the line and device promos. What ended happening was they applied the device promo, but not the Line of Us promo. On my bill I saw the credit towards the EIP, but not the free line credit.

I worked with Business Care reps and they could only apply one promo or the other and could not find a work around. Ended up returning the iPhone and keeping the free line.
Thanks for the info. I will definitely scrutinize the bill when it arrives. I would take the same move as you in that case. Send the phone back and take the line. This thread will light up again when this all settles.

My SOC code is TMESNTL2P. TMESNTL2 qualifies, but do I qualify? When I try add a line on the website, it shows $20/month. Haven't tried calling customer service yet.
I have the same SOC code. I chatted with Tmobile through the app, and they said my plan wasn't eligible.

Anyone else with the same SOC code that got it to work?

Anyone on a NAFUTT4 plan can verify this for me? I currently have 10 voice lines and thought i've reached the max lines. However, the rep just told me i can add 5 more voice lines without changing my plan. Is this true? Thanks
No. You are maxed out at 10 voice lines. The 5 lines the rep must be confusing is MI lines.

No I mean it drops further than that for me. Before add line it was around $100. But now it shows around $70
It is a glitch in their system. The 8 line plan stacks the discounts correctly, while the 9-12 line plan does it from the last line. Not only that, it discounts all lines at $30. That's different from the plan breakdown. Hence, most people will see big drops in the plan total. Don't know if it will stick though. Have to wait until the new bill generates.

This is the plan breakdown for 9 lines+

$75+$55+$25+$25+$25+$25+$25+$25 (8 Lines) = $280 Before autopay
$280 - $40 = $240 after autopay

$280 (8 Lines) + $30 (9th Line) = $310 for 9 Lines before autopay
$310 - $40 = $270 after autopay for 9 lines.

So, the discount for 9th line should be $30, and $20 for lines 1-8. Instead the 9 line plan shows a discount of $30 for all free lines. That is why you are seeing a big drop in your plan total.

They lock you in! It would be impossible for me to move to any other carrier and not take a financial hit. I have 2 paid lines and 4 for free now. That is less than $20 a line for unlimited t&t. Who can match that? They no longer need to rely on eips (that can be bought out by other carriers) to keep their existing customers. This keeps their customer base stable. If you ask me, it's genius! It would be financially unwise to leave T-Mobile. I am paying less than half of what I would pay for 6 total unlimited lines would cost at another big carrier.
I have one $15 paid line and one free line with Sprint. My bill with taxes and fees is $24 every month so I'm paying $12 per line for unlimited.

I don't think the 55+ plans are eligible. Has anyone gotten a free line with this type of plan?
They allow 3rd line, which is not free but at lower rate, once you are close to 2 years on the plan
