This is the plan breakdown for 9 lines+
$75+$55+$25+$25+$25+$25+$25+$25 (8 Lines) = $280 Before autopay
$280 - $40 = $240 after autopay
$280 (8 Lines) + $30 (9th Line) = $310 for 9 Lines before autopay
$310 - $40 = $270 after autopay for 9 lines.
So, the discount for 9th line should be $30, and $20 for lines 1-8. Instead the 9 line plan shows a discount of $30 for all free lines. That is why you are seeing a big drop in your plan total.

Even if you have a CSR or T-Force add the line, they just add the same line as you do. They're not checking a box for "add free line" when they add the line. They just add a line, like you can yourself, and it ends up being free if your plan qualifies for the promotion.
I called 611 and a customer service rep added the line for me. No mention of $30 assistance fee. But maybe it will show up in my next bill....

Can This Be Combined With Other Offers?Deal Editor's Notes & Price Research: Please refer to the forum thread for additional details and discussion. -StrawMan86
See above and yes.
I don't think you have to change your plan, but you could see if they can change your plan to SCUTTF6. Keep in mind that is a legacy plan so you need to find someone who knows what they're doing and willing to help. Everything in your current plan should stick. But, the UNL SOC should be applicable to your current plan also, see my post above.
try texting 611 instead of calling. International support seems to be more helpful but I've also had good luck with some east coast and west coast US based reps. There are different levels of techs (as far as I know) those who are veterans have more knowledge on how to do/change things. As for the SOC to use, I posted 78/122 because as far as I can tell, either or both can be used, so ask them to try one and if it doesn't work, ask them to try another.
see my post above, even with a nice rep, if they don't have the capability, they may not be able to do it. But they can always ask a lead or supervisor for help. Problem is that sometimes the lead is not necessarily a more seasoned employee.
I am not familiar with your SOC, but I have very similar add-ons as you on my Simple Choice plan, so if data is all you want, then try having them apply the SOCs I specified in the spreadsheet and if they say it's not compatible, ask them if they can bump you to the Simple Choice SOC and then try. That might be tough since you're looking at all grandfathered options. BUT with the right rep it can be done.
----
Here are some pointers and notes. I am not the author of the spreadsheet, I found it either here or on reddit or Jmans Discord, can't remember. The first time I had tried someone to apply SOC from the list, I got denied (several months ago). I didn't start out by asking to have the SOC applied. The most important thing is that it CAN be done. Have patience, don't get frustrated and if it doesn't seem to be working with the rep you have, let it go and try another day or on a different platform.
I think over the past 10+ years as a customer, I've had at least 3 reps that I know went above and beyond, were knowledgeable and helped me out. Good luck to you all, and hopefully you guys can get the data upgraded for yourselves as well!
Thanks for responding. Appreciate your replies.
I was in the same boat two months ago with the limit to 4 lines SC plans. Then got hold of nice rep who moved me to SCFUTT6 legacy plan without getting rid of my fam stateside intl feature. The only problem is she couldn't apply SCUNL2HHS line-level soc to bump unlimited data on a few of the lines for $20 each. I wouldn't mind paying extra for unl data on few lines. My account is 13+ years.
The SOC you got applied for bump unlimited data was sweet! Do you remember by chance which add-on SOC you asked them to apply to bump unlimited data?
Another option is if you can take a look at Inspect page when you login to your T-Mobile account. It should show all the SOC for your account and Add-On SOC.
We will be grateful if can get us the SOC from your Inspect page in Edge or Safari.
I will try texting today 611 to try SOC from line 78/122 of xls.
Thanks again for your help and posting link to the xls
the new sim chip is on the way, but I will be paying one more dollar per month starting in January due to the Netflix price increase. I still am satisfied with the service and cost.
The only thing is that I see the -- $40.00 2020 Line on Us 3 (Additional Lines) - for 2 free lines.. And not the 4 Line on Us???
I don't think I saw anyone posting that have seen the correct promo added, right?
