How long does it take for line to show up on account after placing online order without csr? I did it couple hours ago and it isn't showing up yet.

That's the standard 2/$120 plan you're on now.

It sounds like you were on 2/$100 before with $20 Hookup every month. If that's the case, they changed your plan.
OMG!! i told them do not change my plan!! i asked them and confirmed my plan will stay at $80/month.. lucky i still got the chat log.. tmobile is up to no good Smilie

I got a Sim card ordered and when the Sim card got shipped I see the line on the account. But the line doesn't have the data plan selected not it does display the free line promotion. Can anyone tell me if the Sim card has to be activated before I see all of that information?

Question for any experts out here. I tried adding a line to my T-Mobile One plan Today bringing me to line 9. I was on the 8 line plan before.

I had This Ones On Us (AAL) on my plan before the change. It disappeared. Now I'm hearing This Ones on Us is not compatible with the 9 line plan. Anyone on a 9 to 12 plan with This Ones on Us working for them?
Go to Manage data and add-ons for the line that you remember having This Ones On Us (AAL)

It should be checked and showing active under Services if it transferred over

So it was a phone order? Did you need to pay for tax on phone? What about shipping?

It has almost always be the case that some CSRs will give you a free phone and some will tell you the phone is not free to come with the free line. Also, some CSRs will waive the $20 activation fee, some will tell you it can't be waived for a free line. Try at a different time later and tell them you forgot to get the phone when ordering the free line. I did it two days later last time.
I was able to stack the iPhone 11 pro us with the free line in September. But it seems like they closed the loophole recently. So you got the oneplus 8t 5g with this new line?

I was able to find someone who managed to switch me to FRLTULF2. Somehow I remember having 20gb Hotspot on the old plan FRLTUL2LP. Now I see 10gb Hotspot. I think I had the one all in Plus. Also free line doesnt have any Hotspot avail.
I only had 10GB hotspot data on the old One All In Promo plan. So this seems to be correct. Yes, they didn't add the promo to my free line. It seems for others they did it when asked politely. I will chat with them tomorrow again and see if they can make sure that all my lines have the same promotions as I hate inconsistencies. Will see if that works. Wink

When I go online to checkout it says the line will be $20/month. My plan is eligible according to the info I looked up here. Is that $20 fee on the website a standard page and it comes out free on the bilkl or should my checkout page say $0 per month if I am truly eligible.

Completely opposite experience, even ToE couldn't fix a couple of issues I had but those guys were spot on all the time. I also find TForce to be slipping as of late. As much as Tmo tried to streamline the CS experience it's still the same as any other goliath CS, works in our favor, I think.
Ive learned in my line of work that its best to take the hard worker over the squanderer any day. This definitely seems to be your experience, and I am glad for it Applause

I have found that our friends overseas definitely aim to please, and have few ego issues when it comes to helping us out. If a button can be pushed to fix something, it is as good as done. But the problem often comes with over-promising beyond their pay grade. I was promised a deal which was technically not possible (no add-on code existed to provide it on the back-end), but I was assured in no uncertain terms that I would get it. More or less, the training is a bit more lax.

The reverse happens locally (mind you, this is before ToE became a thing). Local support is more likely to have a tolerance limit with helping us out. Even if he/she has more power. This happened with executive response. Because the add-on code didnt exist, all they would do was provide a lump-sum compensation. Although I would have preferred if they would just switch the BOGO to two other lines (ones which are used much more), they simply wouldnt, because they "went by the book", even though it was totally possible (no harder than changing your plan code and then moving all of the add-ons over manually).

Correct. The phone can be ordered a couple of days after the free line had been ordered. You pay tax for the full price of the phone. I got free next day shipping.

on reddit they said that promo is clearly excluded that your free line promo will drop in 30 days or so - will get charged for that line.

Just don't file the costco rebate.
Quote from nyforever :
I'm aware. Like I said, I did this before this post was updated to show that Costco BYOD cannot stack, so I already went to Costco and did it as a BYOD. So I'm wondering do I just not file for the $100 Costco card, do I cancel the Costco line, and/or do I just add another line?
It looks like two systems (Costco and T-Mobile) don't talk according to this post:
