This is in-store only, and they seem to all be at the front of the stores where the Christmas deals are, they are not in the tool isle.
Now owned by Black & Decker, Craftsman lifetime warranty tools can be exchanged at any ACE, Lowes, NAPA or Sears stores.
Metric Set is same $10.49 price

Pinball machines have thousands of 1/4" headed screws
The hollow shafts let you hold a nut on the backside, while you use your cordless driver on the fastener itself
Clogged gutters need the 1/4" driver to remove sections
The blade guards on most table saws are 3/8" to adjust
Hose clamps usually have 5/16 nuts on them
Once you have a set, you will constantly reach for them.

Everyone knows that 5/16 is supposed to be Yellow, 1/4" Red,....
Are the HF hollow shaft? That's probably the most important part of any nutdriver.
Minimum you need original receipts , even then most stores refuse
Go to any ACE or Lowes or NAPA or Sears. As long as they have a driver or set in stock, they exchange it - even if they have to open a set.
The only thing I could not get exchanged at my local ACE was a 1/2" impact socket, because they did not stock them. Had to drive all the way to Sears.
No receipt, they just opened a set of sockets and pulled me a new one. Easy Peasy.

People that have never had an issue think its common place. People like myself that have had issues at multiple stores know different.

I was very happy when ACE started carrying Craftsman, because I've got one maybe 3 miles away; for easy exchanges.
Now that NAPA stores have Craftsman, I'm in heaven, because I go there way more than ACE or Lowes.
