What exactly is Freesync "Premium"?
Variable Refresh Rate... the Premium means it has low frame-rate compensation (it will double frames below ~40-48hz). I won't buy a monitor that doesn't have it now (for gaming).

I've never heard of a 1060ti but most likely no. If you meant 1660ti it will still be no. I would recommend atleast a 2060 if u want low to medium settings and 2070 and above for a more desirable gaming experience
You're right, 1660ti. Thanks!

I currently have MSI Gaming Laptop with 17" 1080P and 120htz screen. ( GTX 1080 )
I also currently have 27" 1440P Screen ( IPS Pro series )

I uses to have 27" 1080P and Apple's 30" Cinema Display which was also 1440P
And owned other monitors like 19" 22" 24" back in the past... so you can say I used array of monitors.

Here are my thoughts.

1. I can game on my Asus 27" 1440P monitor, but I prefer playing in my 17" gaming laptop. I play FPS ( Overwatch) and I prefer 120htz screen. My graphic card is powerful enough to drive both at max... but 27" screen can be a bit too big to mouse scroll in FPS. If I have to buy gaming first Monitor... I would buy 24" 25" IPS 1080P High frame rate monitor.

2. For general productivity. 1080P for 27" was not good enough for me. I used to love a 24" 1080P monitor, so It was a surprise for me when I got my first 27" 1080P monitor. It's too blurry for reading, Excel, outlook. if you like the pixel density of 24" 1080P, You would need to go up to 27" 1440P ( to keep the same pixel count PPI ...) 4K is not needed unless you do video production. I use two 27" 1440P monitor on 125% on Windows 10

3. You do not need the fancy graphic card to push 27" 1440P In 2D application. I'm using work Dell lpatop to push two 27" 1440P monitors.

4. Once you go IPS, I think TN panels look horrible.

Really steep for a 1080p here imo. You can get AOC 24" 1080p 144hz for $150 and 1440p was $250 before, so the price here seems a bit high. 27" is a bit big for 1080p nowadays.

Not quite what I remembered, maybe it was something else, but I've seen monitors of the Gigabyte level for less. Gigabyte is also kind of a budget brand, moreso than stuff like Dell, Asus or AOC, may have QC issues.
