As I understand it's not getting Android 11 so you'll be on 10 FYI. I'll probably use it as my daily driver for this year and I'll keep it as a backup or for my kid on a long road trip for movies.
But I'm reading the comments about the case so I hope the one I got on eBay works.

I own the first case and, while it *kind of* fits, it doesn't *really* fit (and also has almost no lip to protect the screen). That's actually the case (heh) with all three, and every other case that's actually made to fit the G7 and pre-2019 G7 Plus.
The G7 and pre-2019 G7 Plus have ROUND camera bumps, while the 2019 G7 (this deal) has an OVAL camera bump. All three of these cases have ROUND camera cutouts which have not been widened at all to accommodate the width of the 2019 G7's camera bump. As I mentioned, I own the first one and the cutout doesn't quite clear the oval camera bump, so the case will be slightly lifted on at least one side of the camera cutout, creating a gap where dust, dirt, etc. will no doubt get inside the case and build up over time. There are many round-cutout cases which claim to fit the 2019 G7 and even show the phone (with the OVAL camera bump) in the listing, indicating that it fits but, without the listing showing a case with an actual OVAL camera cutout, you're 100% going to receive a case with a round cutout that is just barely too small to properly fit the 2019 G7's OVAL camera.
The only cases with OVAL cutouts which are available in the US seem to be the two which T-Mobile sells and they've already discontinued their equivalent phone and removed the case which was available for it from their retail website. The second TMO case was still available from their business site the last time I checked, but I'm not sure if they'll sell business products to individuals. A random, plain silicone case with an oval cut out showed up in a photo on Reddit, but no one was able to track down a source for the case.
After getting duped by the first case you linked, the best fitting case I've been able to find is my old G7 hybrid case with a TPU or silicone inner layer and an outer hard shell. Since the non-rigid inner layer has a bit of "give", it allows for a better fit than with a rigid case, since the CIRCLE cutout is ever-so-slightly smaller than the width of the OVAL camera bump on the 2019 G7 Plus (as with all of the CIRCLE-cutout cases). The good news is that it otherwise fits very well, has a front lip to protect the screen and is inexpensive on eBay, whether ordering from China or the US. They run about $10 on Amazon or half that on eBay. I posted an eBay link below.
edit: FYI Just to clarify- A case that fits a Moto G7 will fit this phone, taking into account the camera bump issue discussed above.
I've exclusively used this type of case for my phones and purchased them for family members' phones for years. They've fit really well and I haven't had a cracked screen or damage from a fall yet.
A lot of sellers are out of this case for the G7/G7 Plus right now or are out of it in most colors, but you're in luck if you like pink or green.

Battery dies fast. Agree. Screen is unresponsive if you have a screen protector. Without any screen protector, it's fine.
i bought a couple of the regular g7 as gifts for kids and they are pretty nice for the price, could trick you into thinking theyre samsungs if you dont look too close. even budget phones now have the high end no bezel look.
