I'm not a huge gamer but we do like to play World of Warcraft and it runs it at all the highest settings. I know WoW isn't a huge resource hog, but it does get the fans in the laptop running pretty good. (We were replaced nearly 6 year old gaming laptops so I don't have a ton to compare to.)
The fans do kick in pretty strong and the sound from the air can be kinda loud when playing in game. The screen seems pretty bright, but again, I don't have much to compare to. The keyboard feels nicer than my old laptops.

I have this laptop since early November... Everything is on highest settings gaming (Warzone, Warcraft, Battlefield, CyberTurd 2077, and others I play) it's so smooth and never lags whatsoever, the brightness is superb especially compared to the Nitro laptop we also have.
Definitely recommend this laptop especially if you are a heavy gamer or edit 4k videos as I do.
Is the fan loud when it's on gaming mode? Yep. Does it matter? Nope. You just adapt to the sound.
Is the battery life the greatest? 2-3 hours when not plugged in; which is normal when you are doing heavy gaming or editing.

You can probably get something with similar specs at a lower price if you're not into gaming. A big chunk of the price in gaming laptops is because of the graphics processor that they carry.
I've been looking for a regular laptop for school work lately and am blown away by the specs I see on normal laptops. I have an older gaming one that can't even come close to the speeds I see in the ones with an i5 chip.
