I have 805 fico and they decline my Application for Venture credit card and wasted 1 credit check. I won't be applying any Capital one credit card anytime soon.
Call the reconsideration line, could be an error on the app or a typo. Happened to me before
Keep in mind that you'll also get a hard pull from all 3 bureaus anytime you apply for a Capital One credit card.

I've had this card for 7 years, still has $1000 limit and they've never responded to my credit increase requests
You should probably max out the $1000 credit line. Pay it off at the end of the month. Do that a couple of times over a 2 or 3 month period and see if they automatically raise your credit line.

Dang. Im sorry. I have a 700 credit score. Previously had the capital one venture. Let the card go due to financial issues. Settled out the debt. Waited a year after i fixed my finances and was debt free. I applied and got accepted. Not for 10k like i had it but 1/3 the amount.

Same thing happened to me on the Best Buy CC earlier this week. 830 credit score , income is good and my debt ratio at 4%. We are now a liability to CC companies is my take. Between monthly cash back and incentives it costs CC companies to have us on their "payroll."
Wife and I signed up and both of us were approved. 800+ credit score each. Basically $400 bucks free. Already redeemed and paid off the cards, never to be used again. Fantastic.
Yep>>Exactly what im doin...and getting a PS5 for -$200 off is a great deal!!
Hey, all you needed was a limit of $500 to spend $500 to get your $200. 🤣
Yea...I got approved for $1000 and I have stellar credit! I had to go check my accounts and credit reports to make sure nothing was off as I was really surprised by the low balance they gave.
I had this card long time ago and I signed up again and couldn't get the bonus, did anyone had similar situation? did contacting customer support help? thanks!
Applied for this card through the promo. Spent more than $500 and later was denied the $200 because "the promo was no longer available ". They just found whatever reason to not honor the credit.

Have you tried requesting a credit increase from the Capital One app? From the app click on Profile > Account & Feature Settings > Request a Credit Line Increase. Use the automated chat to make the request. I was approved for a 20k limit when I got the card a few months back and just requested a 10k increase which was approved instantly.
Capital One sucks donkey balls. I had a card with them years ago with a great interest rate and a couple years in they increased my interest rate by 15%... fark em. Credit cards are evil, clip em up, pay them off and never go back. You will never regret it.

Credit cards are great when properly used (i.e. never carry a balance, 2%+ back)... but if you can't properly use them then by all means cut them up and cancel all your cards so you don't go into debt with high interest rates.

Good luck with that. You will never be able to rent a car or get a hotel room without a credit card.

They have been asking me every month to upgrade to Quicksilver as it provides 1.5% cb
Is there any way I can ask them for this offer?
The only reason I use capitalone card is outside the country. They have great exchange rate. Sometimes better than the banks. Also widely accepted
