Would also like to hear whether the iPad Pro 11 (2018 or 2020) is worth the extra money. I know the screen and speakers are better on the Pro than on the Air... Thanks for any comments!
Thank you sir looking at all my options and I believe I will need that pencil since I love to draw and animated. Currently looking at the 12.9 Pro tablet.

Its been in an otterbox defender case since Day 1, so its Mint. Even still have the box, receipt and everything it came with.
Most Trade-In values suck as they don't take these things into account so I will have to look into Selling privately on eBay or Swappa.
Not willing to pay the high price for the Pro's, but love the smaller bezels, which makes the Air 4 a good choice.
The air I found out is only 60 hertz. While the 4 year old pro is 120 hertz and also has pure motion which keeps blur at bay while scrolling
Professional pics on the air blur badly when you zoom in as well.
The Air just seems off to me.
Speed wise is same as a 4 year old pro.

edit: quick correction, only the 12.9 is rumored to get Mini LED, not the 11 Pro.
You're correct about the (reliable) rumors suggesting iPads with Mini LED displays should be coming in March, however, I'd like to correct one common misconception about Mini LED displays to make sure yours (and others') expectations are in check. You seem to be confusing mini LED with micro LED. The latter, micro LED, uses a similar design principle as OLED with individually lit pixels, but is entirely synthetic. It's expected to ultimately be better and cheaper to produce than OLEDs and will not carry the risk of burn-in. Both technologies allow for pixel perfect HDR, because with each pixel individually lit, you have as many HDR backlight zones as you have pixels. That's not what Apple is releasing next month, however. That technology needs a bit more time before we start seeing it on consumer monitors and devices. MINI LED is similar to Samsung's QLED that you'll see advertised for their TVs and monitors. It is essentially an added layer over our existing LCD technology which focuses light in a way that allows for greater range of color (more / better HDR support) and higher levels of brightness. It does -not- have individually lit pixels as OLED does or as micro LED will. OLED is still the best display technology for now, and will be until micro LED is finally available. Look into QLED for a sneak-preview of what to expect from Apple's mini LED displays.
