I just tried using the promo code 4K21FTV, but it doesn't work for me. I get a message saying that "The promotional code you entered cannot be applied to your purchase."

I own two Rokus and like them for what they do. But I don't necessarily care for the Roku "walled garden" of apps and their refusal to support a true web browser. The main reason I like the Firestick4K is that when it is on sale (for real), it's a decent device that offers access to a real web browser (Firefox, Chrome, Silk). This allows for access to any content directly over the Internet, instead of having to tie up a browser-capable device to cast to the TV, or being totally reliant on apps that the elite Gods@Roku feel you should be permitted to watch. For that purpose, it works perfectly for me (I own two Firestick4k units). I could give a rat's ass about the apps that it comes with, except for the browsers.

I recently bought chromecast with Google tv and now hardly use the fire tv. Google rv works much better, no remote malfunction like fire tv.
