Lowest price this monitor has been according to tracking sites. Lower than the previous FP deal of this not to long ago. This one is GSYNC and one of the best 1440p gaming monitors out there.

144hz ,

Most recent comments suggest issues just like with any other monitor .

The Samsung 240hz still beats this .
Depends samsung uses va panel. G7 is for sure better but also $700 or $600 on sale so...

IMO there's no reason to get this over the LG 27GL83A-B which is $379 for the exact same panel.

This monitor is FREESYNC, aka G SYNC COMPATIBLE. Read the information. People, just because G sync works DOES NOT mean it is a g sync monitor. Whether or not you think it's worth the extra premium is for you to decide, "there's not difference" blah etc. But this is not a g gync monitor. So OP, please do not write in your post that this is a G sync monitor.

This is what I am wondering. I don't see the advantages of this one.

*edit*
I see more inputs and maybe a brighter screen?

So I actually own this LG monitor as well as other G-SYNC certified monitors: Dell S2417DG (2 of them) and S2716DG (2 of them) and after using both extensively, you really can't tell the difference as far as GSYNC goes. Only thing I did actually noticed was IPS vs TN (so richer colors and deeper blacks). During fast action gaming, the importance of these factors is even debatable.

For normal "office" use, the richer colors of the IPS is appreciated ie. watching movies and editing photos/vids.

Yup, I also got the 27GL83A-B 'like new' from amazon warehouse last year. Love it for working from home + PC games. Have an nvidia g-sync card and games look great at 144 Hz. Also have a PS5 hooked up and am getting 1440p there too, though 60 Hz.

Get the 27GL83A-B!

According to the spec sheets, the 83A-B is not NanoIPS. This is. Will have higher dynamic range and color reproduction.

This monitor is NanoIPS. That monitor is IPS.
