Based on the information these more than likely fake. First thing, these straps should go over the head and not behind the ears and reviews on Amazon say the manufacturer info is different on the mask they got.

i trust nothing on amazon that i need not to be counterfeit. to give perspective, even office depot was accidentally selling counterfeit masks a few months ago, and those weren't from third party sellers either.

amazon is just not the kind of company that will do the deep dive to ensure they're selling legitimate safety equipment

It really is sad how far the great have fallen. Amazon as a whole is a much bigger and better company than before in many ways I'm sure but the marketplace business has taken a huge dive as it is rarely price competitive, has lots of fakes, and search results are chock full of knockoffs that outcrowd the authentic.

Man there are so many so called experts on everything. If you dont really know shit about squat and everything you say is just hear say, then perhaps copy and pasting wrong info is simply spreading even more misinformation. These are real, 3M makes them, Amazon sells them direct. Can it be confirmed 100%? Heck no. Can anything be? Can the masks be 100% effective from Covid? Heck no. Do 3M or Amazon care if you (the single ignorant buyer buys them), nope. Stop spreading misinformation and fear.

This is from the CDC website.
These are head bands per NIOSH requirements. Also clearly indicated made in China.

If you view the instructions for the mask on that page you linked, you'll see that it has head bands, not ear loops.

The CDC link you linked has the product manual listed as a PDF, and they are definitely not earloops. These were simply made for the Chinese market initially. 3M's own manual states (in English) it's KN95 for China and NIOSH N95 approved for the US.

Yea. It is headband. Im just saying it is legit niosh mask. It will provide tighter seal than a kn95 mask.... I still trust the kn95 masks too.

I have a legit 3M 9502+ KN95 50 pack that I got for less than this and it looks quite different from this one. 3M would never write N95 on a KN95 mask. I would stay away.
