Costco Members: T-Mobile $300 BYOD Costco Cash Offer YMMV

+19 Deal Score
34,250 Views
Through 3-4-20 Get $300 for for activating a new line of service with port-in and bringing your own device from Verizon or AT&T. Max 2 two $300 Costco Cash Card's per Wireless Account. Cash Cards issued within 14 Weeks after activation and submittal of rebate form.

The offer is not on the Costco/Wireless Advocates Website, but it was given to me at the kiosk and was told this is a national offer. The rebate paperwork I was given/submitted confirmed the above.

This is one of the more generous switch offers I've seen recently for BYOD, only higher offer I can recall was during the Black Friday Shopping Period when $350 was being offered to switch. The only higher offer in recent Happy deal hunting.

If you actually read the thread, you would also notice the Original Poster (OP)later posted the following comment (view attached screenshot). He originally posted port in required, then said no port in required later on, hence why I would just like someone else to confirm what the actual terms are so it clears up the confusion that myself and some others might be having right now.

I understand reading comprehension can be difficult for some people. Roll
Don't put yourself down like that, brah! I know I can't comprehend how slow people think, but I won't call you that Smilie

Are you autistic or something?

OP mentioned that a port in is not required

Quote from ShrewdCreature8771 :
According to the T&C's it appears it only needs to be a new line of service.
My previous comment of port in required is incorrect and a port in is not required. Only a new activation of service.

It says limit 12 rebates per account. What does that mean for this specific promotion only?
You end up with $3,600 (300 *12) thanks to Costco. Learning math at school is helpful.

I can't help but notice how multiple people in this thread have seemed to not only prove you incorrect, but also embarrass you with your unnecessarily rude comment that actually made yourself look "slow." I would highly suggest you step away from this forum until you learn some basic reading comprehension skills. I would hate for other people to have to deal with incorrect information due to your lack of basic reading skills and common sense.

Also, Reddit answered my port in question -- No port-in required. https://www.reddit.com/r/tmobile/...card_byod/

Lol I wasn't referring to calculation. I was asking that I have previously done promotions from Costco this year total 4 byod so does that mean I can only do 8 more or is tied to specific promotion?

Sorry! That was a typo. Meant to say 2021, it very much is valid. Only through today though 😉

That was an error on my part. Port-In is not required. It is also good through today 3-4-21. Typed this up a bit too fast, apologies for any confusion 😬

Also interested in this question:

For example, can I add a line with my own device, then purchase 2 new iPhones to also take advantage of the BOGO $540 off promo (Costco 2020 Apple Buy 2 P2)? See screenshot attached for the promo terms.

I was about to rush out to Costco but reread and noticed it's not tied to a free add a line like the sweet ones last year... yet. To be spoiled by the slickest of deals!
