It's called a lay-up, and it's all the boring whiteys in short-shorts knew how to do.... Until Michael Jackson came out and started banging kids from the free throw line.
If you buy this for your kid, I will pull up and destroy their hopes and dreams. I am unstoppable on the pavement. I can hit shots from all angles. Your kid should stick to NBA 2K because the asphalt game ain't for them. If you want to come out there and defend your kid's honor, I will make you wish you paid more attention in gym class as well.
Cool story bro. Playing me in real life is not happening cause let's be real.
But if you wanna roll in NBA 2k, I bet I could destroy you there. PM me.
Yes that's an option. I wonder how large the reservoir is on these.
I've seen that but that will still freeze, no? I am concerned with water freezing and splitting the base open, then the unit's basically trash.
Probably the most durable and heavy option but then the unit is totally immobile.
I'm going with Basegel combined with this product. I'm hoping with the combination of these 2 that my hoop won't be going anywhere. I like that the strap around the pole will provide more stability overall. https://hoopanchor.com/
Called Mountain View, CA location and they informed me this item number (1330892) was showing discontinued. They were able to find another item number (2622007) for the same item, but it was showing "on order" without any ETA. The $70 manufacturer discount on this is supposed to expire 3/14, so I'm thinking this might be a lost cause.
Has anyone else been able to determine different item numbers (or even different models)?

Redwood City has 8 of them left. I just left with one.

Damn, it's almost like they took the photo early on in the shot sequence.

Q&A on Amazon says Basegel will not freeze. That aside, the plastic used to make these bases is usually pretty rugged and can withstand some stress.
