FYI the Dexley reclines ~10-20 degrees even at its most upright position with tilt lock. Interesting design choice for sure. If you ever need to sit fully upright, go with the Hyken (if you're 5'9" or under) or the Kroy (if you're 5'9" or over).

I bought the Dexley a month ago and I'm really regretting it. I want to sit upright and it's impossible. The lumbar support is nothing but a pain. Wasted my money on this thing.

Black Hyken is 136.99 with coupon? Is there a way to get it down to $130?

Received the Dexley a few weeks back from an earlier deal and I love it, so comfortable for long work sessions. The lumbar support can be adjusted, and once you find the correct placement, it promotes good posture. I owned several leather/office chairs from Staples over the years, I will say Mesh is alot better.

Ive had mine for about 3 weeks now. Took a good 2-3 days to get it adjusted right to where I wanted it. The first day or two I did notice some back/leg pain because it wasn't adjusted to the right high/ lumbar settings. Now, it's wonderful. I work 8-9 hours and then play games for another 2-3 in the evening. No pain at all. 5-11 and 190

5 foot 11 inches here- The Dexley lumbar pushed too much into my spine on all settings and the chair edge cut off circulation to my legs. I know each chair is subjective to the end user but I returned the Dexley and got the La-Z-Boy mesh back when it was on sale and it is leagues better at supporting you while you work.

Bought this chair last month and I hate it.
The material is really uncomfortable. There's hard plastic that sticks up on the sides of the seat which makes it painful to cross your legs or slouch in. Even using it as a footrest is painful. The chair rotates way too easily, on its own, even while sitting in it. I wish I had the option to lower the chair further than it can go. I wish I could lower the arm rests further. The chair rolls too easily and doesn't have locks on the feet to prevent this. There's a weird groove on the front of the seat which puts constant pressure and causes discomfort on the back of my thighs.

If this is something you're going to be sitting in all day, I recommend paying more for something comfortable.

Either you don't know how to use a chair...or you don't know how to sit.

Bought the blue Dexley one last time for $110, love the color. It actually looks much better than the pics.

This was my exact experience at 6'0 with the lumbar. The lumbar support is just too intrusive and it felt like it was jabbing me in the back. I gave it 13 days to try to get comfortable in it and just never could get comfortable. My lower back was in pain most days.

What La-Z-Boy did you go with?
