This honestly looks great and has gotten super positive reviews from people who actually own one. The unfortunate deal breaker for me is their login/subscription requirement.
Look into it more. It's not a requirement.

Good thing that logging in is not (and has never been) a requirement.
You can add 6000 games on USB, play forever, and never login.
The login is only for the coinopsx graphics overlay or bonus unlisted Arcadenet games, both of which are totally optional AND FREE. If you don't want these free things, you're welcome to avoid them, but there's a ton of misinformation out there from people who don't own this.

I will grant that adding more than 500 extra games without the login makes for slow browsing, but how many people have over 500 favorite games? Create a thumb drive for each system and roll.

I don't understand why there's an argument going on about this product vs just using a Retropie (etc) and regular controllers. They're two completely different things. Using a Retropie and some standard controllers isn't giving you an arcade experience that this is supposed to. If that's what you want, then fine, but that's not the purpose of this product and I don't understand why that's being argued. Someone buying this wants an all-in-one arcade setup for two players. That's not being given with two regular console controllers. You are not getting two arcade/fight sticks in a dual setup like this with a trackball AND a Retropie for under $100. If you are then please post links.

Building your own cabinet is a completely different experience and situation as well and not comparable to someone just looking to buy a plug-and-play all-in-one setup like this.

You guys are arguing two completely different gaming experiences about a product that is clearly designed for one of those points, the arcade experience.

That being said, if you're at all remotely interested in this product and WANT the arcade experience with this exact setup and have enough technical know-how to install CoinOpsX, then this is going to be the cheapest and easiest route to go. No, they're not Sanwa quality parts and yes you're tied together like you would be in an actual arcade, but there is not much setup you have to do other than installing the CoinOpsX software and there are plenty of YouTube videos on that.

If you just want to play retro games and don't care about the arcade experience, then there are dozens of options like Retropie or easily modding a NES/SNES/PS1/Genesis mini console and adding your own games.

Alternatively, you can just use one of the numerous emulators on a computer or setup RetroArch with a front end like Launchbox/BigBox and get an amazing experience as well. You can even just use CoinOps on the computer instead of buying this. Connect it to your TV and use any number of controllers or fight sticks and you're all set.

There are plenty of people like myself and other users on Reddit more than willing to help you with whatever setup you decide to chose, but please, arguing about this crap is annoying on here.

To clarify. Can we use this for the Xbox one or Ps4/5? TIA.

Edit: I basically want to use this for street fighter on the consoles.

Sounds like you're the target type of consumer for this thing. Someone who isn't tech savvy that wants to pay for free ROMs.so they don't have t spend an hour or less building something. My Retropie with case, controllers, and over 10k games was right at $100. You can probably do it for even less nowadays with the kits they sell.
By all means link to an equivalent wireless arcade controller setup with trackball that you purchased for $100, even excluding the Pi.

What's the worst case scenario? You use it with a Raspberry Pi or another device as just a controller and you still got a good deal.

Several posts here have stated that it's a requirement if you add your own games.

That's fine, but I'm not interested in building out my own device or else I would have already done that. Not crapping on the deal but just not wanting to get forced into that kind of situation down the road.
