I've personally never tried adding multiple saUCE packages since all I wanted was the arcade one, so I can't provide precise instructions other than knowing, based on what I read, that it is definitely possible to combine multiple ones. I believe there is a specific process and remember seeing a reddit thread that goes into more detail on it, so I would recommend checking there in the Legends and Sauce ones. .

Yeah, absolutely. This definitely works. I primarily only wanted the Arcade 4.5 pack, but with the gf wanting some NES Mario stuff, and my wanting some old Genesis (Madden/Sonic) etc classics, I just hand dragged the ones I wanted (remember to take from the different folders in Cox as well if you want that stuff), but it worked flawlessly, and just was intermingled with the Arcade stuff in the CoinOpX interface no problem....

Am I the only one who got a DUD unit and cant seem to get any help from support?
I was able to start up the system and pair the control deck to the puck.
Seemed like P1 and P2 buttons were not working because I couldn't get a game to start.
When I finally did I couldn't play a game without the Configuration Menu coming up trying to remap controls (Stock Games)
After much research online was led to the HELATH CHECK option under settings and the more than half of the control buttons do not work or register as being tapped when you test them in this screen.
Original email back from support was a copy of the instructions (which are horrendously written) and note about blue tooth latency. The units were within a foot of each other, and why would some buttons register as working but more than half including the trackball not register in the test screen.

Hoping that they come through on the warranty replacement, since Walmart is OOS. I did go back to grab my recipt online and saw that I could still purchase the extended 2 yr warranty for $8 so I did that as well.

Anyone else have issues?

TIA

Count me in the group with a defective unit. I've spent ~3 hours trying to fix it, including countless power cycles/resets. The buttons work for a few presses and then the controls lose connection. Firmware didn't fix it and I can't do s factory reset due to the controls not working via usb either. I packaged it up to return to Walmart, but decided to email atgames to see if they can offer a solution.
LMK how you fair, Im in the same boat

That sucks, as I am reading many purchasers here seemed to get defective or problematic units... mine seems to be fine (i'm knocking on wood right now..)

When I first got the unit, I was waiting another day for the fresh usb stick i wanted so i just hooked up the unit "stock" out of the box... I was meandering through the menus and did the HEALTH CHECK myself, and it failed...

FF a few minutes later after updating the firmware as I was assured that the newest firmware indeed works with Sauce and whatnot, (albeit with either partitioning a stick or getting a hub... (I went with partition myself as didn't want to add more luggage..))...

tl/dr, after updating the firmware, my HEALTH TEST on the unit was all good.

Have you updated yet?

(sorry for the poor form in quoting you and not tagging you correctly....)

Mine arrived yesterday - out of all the issues to have, it was Wi-Fi related. Had to remove all forms of encryption (open network) for initial connectivity, the LAN port is also non-functional. Updated firmware after so it may have resolved this. Paired the P1 / P2 out of intuition, since no manual was included in mine. However, Sauce loaded perfectly - absolutely no issues and runs smooth.

can you please post how to roll back to firmware 4.20? i can't find the exact procedure....
Further reading today makes me think maybe it can't be rolled back. Apparently there are two versions of the gamer pro just like there are 2 versions of the arcade legends. The old ones can be rolled back, but new ones can't be (if you roll back prior to 5.0 you could brick the unit if it is new)

I guess my question is, why would someone want to roll back?

(Solutions with dealing with CoinOpX and the AddOn tool aren't hard..., and the latest Sauces require a higher firmware to my understanding....)

Do you need some kind of account to able to use coinopsx? Is it free and does the console always have to be online to use coinopsx?

You need a free account at ATGames to download CoinOpsX, or rather, Flash X (?), so you have to be online for that, and in that process you can verify it with a QR code on your system.

Since I keep my puck plugged in.. (and only had it for a few days), once I verified my account and downloaded CoinOpX, I haven't been asked to re-login or whatnot...

Cool, just make sure (unless you are planning on using a hub) to partition the stick with a smaller FAT32 one so it can do it's thing....

but you should be able to setup a drive and run AddOnX etc with all assets before arrival without problem... just don't plug it in until AFTER you upgrade firmware etc...

mine was having trouble pairing and having hdmi signal dropouts until I replaced the USB power cable and adapter. seems to work fine after that.

^ This is a good thing for a lot of the people here reporting issues to try.... as I'm sure the no-name usb power brick and cables included don't have the greatest QC.

If this worked in your scenario, there is fair chance that someone else out there also gets a better result with a more trusted usb power setup.

One other thing to note, I think this unit has internal 18650 batteries, that I'm pretty sure are charged to only nominal 3.2V for shipping, and has probably dropped in voltage in warehouses and whatnot. I would absolutely recommend FULLY charging the control unit before anything else for best/optimal experience.
