It isn't supposed to come with a charger for the tabletop, unless you mean the power charger for the puck itself.

Got it today. So far great. In process of loading sauce4.5 addonx rn.

Question -- the puck is the computer right? Apparently the OS is windows?

Also, anyone running killer instinct with the current setup or will I need to run it off my computer?

This is an absolute steal at 99 bucks, i was very happy picking one up at sams at 150. Anyone who thinks they can build even close to this is just wrong. It may take you a little pain to get your thumb drive all sorted and set just the way you want it, but it is worth it. Stick with it.

For those looking to keep saving money but want a stand. I built a nice little fold up stand with PVC pipe that once painted black and red to match console looked quite good and cost me 20 bucks or so.

From the research I did (well after after yoloing 2 of these), you can roll back to firmware ~4.20 (required for the "one sauce ultimate arcade edition" which is not the standard coinopsx front-end, but has console games and categories and some other fun things that have yet to be added to the main coinopsx).

This was the mod that the angry man who doesn't like this deal was referring to throughout his many posts when he was talking about rolling back the firmware. According to the main reddit thread in One Sauce, it appears that rolling the firmware back and forth is very simple, and rolling it back gets rid of the login requirement.
can you please post how to roll back to firmware 4.20? i can't find the exact procedure....

Has everyone updated to latest firmware? Looked like from watching a few reviews on it there was a lot of problems with pairing which new firmware seemed to clear up.
Yeah, no dice for my unfortunately. Still can't get player one to sync with anything including devices other than the puck.

Grrrr I'm starting to get pissed. I ordered this thing about 3 days ago well before it was out of stock. Mine is still showing estimated arrival date of March 21st. It's showing as preparing for shipment. Hasn't changed status since I ordered it. I called Walmart customer service about an hour ago to see what's going on as I've never had this happen before. She told me the item is out of stock, and they'll ship as soon as they get more in. So I'm most likely going to get canceled by the looks of things. Even though they were still selling them online a full day after I ordered mine.
Mine was finally shipping out this morning when I ordered on Friday. Expected delivery by tomorrow.

64GB is more than sufficient if you just want the Arcade bundle (1653 titles) and a few other things. What is probably causing you and others problems is that the various youtube tutorials are erroneously telling people to carve out 16GB for the first partition, which is way more than you could ever need. It just uses that to store a handful of things like the CoinOpsX launcher (which is like 40kb I read) and maybe some very small game files if you download them from the official store. At most it may use a few tens of MBs.

People have made this first (flash x) partition as small as 1GB without issue. Personally, I went with 4GB and used the other 60GB for the roms and other files. While you raised a valid point about how the addonx tool adds to this space (mine took about about 1GB in its folder), even with all of that said I still am only using about 50GB of that 60GB second partition.

As I don't care about NES/SNES/etc. roms (I have other emulators for that and just want the arcade pack), I have no problem with a 64GB stick. Now if you want to load it up with every saUCE package, that's a different story and you will need more space. But outside of that, 64GB should be fine for most people as long as they keep the first partition small.

Great info! I am wondering about adding more addons to an existing USB. I have found some information but nothing that really spells out the process. So if I've already setup my 128 USB stick with CoinOpsX 4.5 and it's ready to go...how does one add more packs to this existing stick? I've read you can add the files to the stick then delete the existing addon folder and re-run the addon tool once you've added all your new files. Is that correct? Wondering if you need to make sure all files are in the 2 noted folders "uce" and "cox" or if there is any other steps to make note of. Specifically looking at the Daphne pack that has Dragon's Lair etc. Unpacking it ends up with a "contents" folder so a little confused on that folder in addition to the "uce" and "cox".

Just waiting for my unit to deliver today and hoping it doesn't have any defects. Bought one Samsung FIT Plus 128 and another one on the way. Wanted to keep one for Arcades and one for Consoles. Any advice or links would be appreciated! Brings back cool memories of going to the arcades on Friday or Saturday nights. So many quarters spent back then...sigh.

I believe you can still use P2 side to navigate the menus and update the firmware etc ... so hope is not lost here...

Count me in the group with a defective unit. I've spent ~3 hours trying to fix it, including countless power cycles/resets. The buttons work for a few presses and then the controls lose connection. Firmware didn't fix it and I can't do s factory reset due to the controls not working via usb either. I packaged it up to return to Walmart, but decided to email atgames to see if they can offer a solution.

I wouldn't recommend doing that with this unit, as while I haven't tried myself, I have read that it will brick the unit and void the warranty.

There isn't any reason I would think you would want to, unless you are having difficulty partitioning a usb stick for the FlashX on one, and the games on the other, or you want to go without a hub..

(I put 2 partitions on one 128GB Sansdisk yesterday, and it works like a charm with the latest firmware so far...)

I'm currently in the bluetooth not pairing camp as well. Player 1 will sometimes pair up, but when it does it just sends garbage keystrokes to the system causing it to bounce around menus and do random things.

Works fine wired though. I'm in contact with AtGames trying to sort it out. We'll see how that goes.

My trackball works, but rolling left causes drag/noise. I dunno if that'll work itself out or not though.

The first partition, which you originally format blank and as FAT, gets formatted by the console and setup specifically and encrypted for your device (locked to it). So once you do that part, and install CoinOpsX to it, you never want to mess with it again on a PC. This is the one that can be left small since it doesn't ever hold much. The second (exFAT) partition is where all your games are stored. I've personally never tried adding multiple saUCE packages since all I wanted was the arcade one, so I can't provide precise instructions other than knowing, based on what I read, that it is definitely possible to combine multiple ones. I believe there is a specific process and remember seeing a reddit thread that goes into more detail on it, so I would recommend checking there in the Legends and Sauce ones. However, using two different sticks for different saUCEs is definitely possible and probably easy (both in terms of setup and to help keep things separate and easier to navigate). Just follow the same process on both. Alternatively, if you use a USB hub, I believe you can use a dedicate flashx USB stick for that and then change out ROM sticks which just have that data on them.

When adding/changing ROMs, do NOT delete the addonx folder at the root. This has all the data it built on the existing ROMs as well as a lock file with its history, etc. in it. If you add ROMs, just run the addonx tool again and it will skip over anything it already did. If you delete the addonx folder, it needs to process everything all over again vs just the changes. It won't break anything to do it this way but it isn't needed unless something isn't working properly.
