After you install coinopsx , do you run right away. If so how long does it take before you have all the games loaded in the scrolling screen?
After mounting it, I am able to run it right away, if I wanted to. It does say loading for a few seconds until CoinOps pops up and I can click on it. Once I click on CoinOps it asks me to login. I login and it turns to a blue loading screen and a few seconds later it's the scrolling screen with the games. If you go to addon x in the BYOG tab and are logged in, you should be able to see your UCE's without even going into the scrolling CoinOps screen under the AppStoreX tab. This may be an easy way to see if it worked.

I also got Pixelcade with the CoinOps download. Guess it's part of the download, not too sure (dude in the video also has Pixelcade, so I'm assuming it's part of it all), but you should see them both (Pixelcade and CoinOps) side-by-side under the AppStoreX tab after you mount the drive.

I really think it may be the new firmware 5.26. Has anybody gotten this to work with this new firmware?

It could be... I did not download the update this evening when it offered, in fear of losing CoinOps that was currently working well. I did update the firmware when it arrived, but did not update this evening. I'd have to see what firmware I have.

I also have been experiencing issues connecting the control top. The green menu button doesn't seem to do anything regarding pairing. The Bluetooth lights go solid which seem to indicate pairing, but nothing works. I'll try pairing dozens of times with no success. Then all of a sudden everything will start working for one session - all buttons working correctly. Then after shutting off, nothing will work again. Super frustrating. The instructions for pairing don't seem to work, nor do the instructions for factory reset. I opened up the box and everything seems fine. It's driving me crazy. Anyone have any insight?

I did the update tonight. Had to reboot the puck but everything worked fine after that.
Did you mount the stick in settings?

Finally!! I tried the NES sauce pack on a different USB stick and it finally worked!! But only after I did the plugging into pc trick that was suggested earlier. For now, I would say the Sandisk usb stick with micro USB adapter is not compatible. I will be trying the CoinopsX Arcade V4.5 sauce pack on a different Sandisk USB stick see if that helps. Thanks Joe Dirt, Dougmeister , and jsl for all the tips.

I watched Madlittlepixel's video on setting up the Bluetooth controller connection and it was easier to follow then the manual. Might give it a try. If I can find will attach link.

I had the same issues in the beginning. Bluetooth connects on P1 but connecting P2 would disconnect both P1/P2. Running CoinOpsx would give the 'CoinOpsX not found' message. Happened like for 3 days straight everytime I tried, it was frustrating. I also tried both the CoinOpsX + boot partition on 1 & 2 usb sticks. Then on the 4th day, from what I imagine was a combo of sheer luck and my hard-headedness, things just started working.

I have the new 5.26 firmware. With the full yippee package, I got a low system storage popup error msg after 2-3 minutes initial scan of my usb drive. Not sure why because I have 4gb in my first partition, unless it's referring to the puck's internal storage for system files. Under Setting-Device Info, it says there is 278 MB available system storage and 120 MB available user storage, BEFORE I plug my drive in.

I tried just a set of 20 games and that booted fine with no issues. So, it seems like there's a limit on the number of games you can have on your usb drive before it runs out of system storage space. For people who got it working with the full yippee package, could you check what is the available system/user storage AFTER you plug in your drive. Most likely, the new 5.26 firmware takes up more system storage space than older firmware ...

So did you end up using 1 or 2 USB drives? I'm still having trouble getting the coinopsx Arcade v4.5 working on my new LGP with the new 5.26 firmware installed

These are the best instructions I saw given by a kind redditor:

SINGLE USB METHOD:

1 Update to the latest AtGames firmware for your device. All the CoinOps builds are compatible with the latest version.

2 Partition your USB stick into two FAT32 partitions. You can make the first partition small if you like. (4 gb is plenty, and you can go with less.)

3 Download the CoinopsX archive you want, extract it to the second partition on the USB stick and run the AddonX tool on that partition. You can add more content and even combine downloads, but it'll be a very long list to scroll through on the ALU, so do that at your own risk.

4 Once AddonX is done running, plug the USB into your ALU.

5 On the ALU go to FlashDriveX in the settings menu and format the USB stick (It'll only format that first partition.)

6 Under FlashDriveX, choose "Mount." It uses the first partition as extra storage space for system files and the second partition stores your games.

7 Go to the AppStoreX menu and select CoinOpsX. Choose Install to download and install the executable.

8 You can now launch CoinOpsX from the AppstoreX menu any time you like.

DUAL USB METHOD:

This is the method you use if you have multiple CoinOpsX USBs and want to be able to switch between them. If necessary, you can use a USB hub with the Atgames machines.

1 Update to the latest AtGames firmware for your device. All the CoinOps builds are compatible with the latest version.

2 Build your "Game" USB for your games on a Windows PC. To do this, download the CoinopsX archive you want, extract it to a FAT32 or ExFAT USB stick and run the AddonX tool on it. You can add more content and even combine downloads, but it'll be a very long list to scroll through, so do that at your own risk.

3 Set up your separate AddonX USB. Insert an empty USB into the ALU. Go to FlashDriveX in the settings menu and format the USB stick. Under FlashDriveX, choose "Mount." Go to the AppStoreX menu and select CoinOpsX. Choose Install to download and install the executable.

You can now leave the AddonX USB in the machine and switch out Game USBs as you like. If necessary, you may use a USB hub.

Troubleshooting:

1 If it doesn't work the first time, restart the device.

2 If it still doesn't work, re-run the AddonX tool on the USB drive to re-verify the files. You don't need to delete anything, just run the app.

3 You'll only have to do this once.

NOTE: The AddonX tool is Windows only. There is no known solution for Mac/Linux short of running a virtual Windows machine.

Hope this helps. Peace

I just tried the trick in moving USB to pc and back but still getting the "No coinopsx files found". Is there another way to reset the puck besides just unplugging the power cord? I've already powered down and still same issue... I wonder if it's the usb stick I'm using or the new firmware that I installed
I am having the exact same "No coinopsx files found" issue. I just received mine today and settting it up with the latest firmware, using a new 128gb samung memory card with 2 partition. Hopefully not the firmware support issue. Will keep you updated.

Edit: I just noticed that USB logo on top right is flashing non-stop. May be an issue wth USB loading. I may just wait for awhile to see if that helps.

Guys after you stick the usb on the puck and do the format and mount and the process is completed, then reboot the PUCK and should recognize the USB and the coinopsx files once is powered back on

Honestly I'm not sure if it's reading 1 or both usb sticks, I've got both plugged into my usb hub at the moment. I remember trying to mount/dis-mount each stick by itself and that didn't work, I left it alone and the next day it just worked.
