There is a newer model available (square tube handle vs round) but otherwise seems the same. I've had this model for about 3 years, and upgraded to the 4.0 Ah battery.

The only downside is that the blade doesn't have much vacuum or "lift" power compared to my gas mower. It tends to just pass over sticks and leaves rather than suck up and mulch them. I kept my gas Husqvarna/Kohler mower with a dedicated mulch blade for fall cleanup of leaves. The 4.0 Ah battery does my large yard on one charge vs changing out the 2.0 Ah batteries. I've also had to replace 3 of the 2.0 Ah batteries (under warranty). The 2.0 Ah battery is fine for the other 80V tools I have, but the mower wears them down prematurely.

Good price, but be aware that the string trimmer is not attachment capable and the blower is the older, lower CFM model.
Oh, it's the same blower I've had for four years. It's a great blower, can't use on max or it'll displace mulch.

This is basically the same as the Kobalt one at Lowes for $399 regular price. Costco has the higher model of Greenworks in store with self propell and larger 2nd battery for $200 more. So this is a decent deal.
Does the kobalt battery work on this and vice versa?

I have this mower and love it. It is pretty light (and much quieter than a gas mower) so I have not missed the self propel myself, and it helps the battery last a lot longer. I'd say it's a great buy for a quarter to half acre lacking super steep grades. Mine has the 4ah battery so not sure how the 2ah work out.

If you change/modify the shell, it should work. The batteries are the same size but the plastic case has different groves/slots on it. There are several brands made by the same OEM. I just got a Kobalt 80V edger which is shipped from Greenworks.

Alternatively, you can sand off the bottom rail in the battery compartment of the Greenworks mower to make the Kobalt battery fits.

What would you consider a super steep grade?

No experience with electric mowers and in the market myself but this one is a 80v vs the one you linked being 60v so more power here

I own the self-propelled version of this mower and it is FANTASTIC. However, the 2Ah batteries on a 80V mower aren't going to last very long. Maybe 1/4 acre per battery. For reference I have a 5Ah battery and don't really use the self-propel feature, and can do 3/4 acre before the battery dies.

That's true. I used the older green work with a 4.0 40volt and it knocked the front and back yard. The 2.0 barely handle the backyard.
