They also have a pretty significant layer of oil on them - I assume from the rubber/coating sweating while shipping over in the container from Asia. I rubbed them down with some kitchen degreaser to prevent my hands from becoming slippery every time I adjust weight.

I sold the bar right off the bat, so I can't give any feedback on it.
