But then again, I'm not on my phone all damn day long either. My work machine is a MacBook Air (M1), so I'm on that most of the time. Maybe if I spent hours upon hours a day staring at my phone, the battery life would be a problem...
I'm hoping they don't give up on the mini line and can make some battery improvements.
If paying $20, Otterbox Commuter [amazon.com] (black only) is available for $20.49 and Symmetry [amazon.com] is available for $25.59. Both sold by Amazon, so hopefully genuine and not the fake ones.
This is also on Amazon, but Besybuy also has open boxes. I'll usually order an open box and the item and return the open box if it's not actually "like new" as they claim or keep it and return the new unopened item.
I do not know if Apple makes them, but there are 3rd party ones available.

Because if you place your phone upright and are in a call you are in a call your mic will constantly cut out if the bottom was enclosed. Happens with my gf all the time.

Well doesn't need to be that cheap. Was thinking if anyone has used one form Amazon or something.
I have one on order, gonna see if the quality matches up, they have good reviews.

This has been a known issue with Apple's clear cases, more specially on the iPhone XR models. Enough to where Apple has a special section in their VMI (what they use to determine if something is covered under warranty, among other things) specifically stating this is covered under warranty as a manufacturing defect.
Wouldn't buy this even at $20
