This is an inverter generator so you will be able to power all of your sensitive computer and electronic devices. It can also slow down based on usage so it can run quieter when you are not using a full load. This normally sells for around $900 and is a very solid inverter generator and at 6250 watts, the most you will find in an inverter without spending $2-$3k

I installed a transfer switch to my panel and it powers my entire 1200sq foot house including all lights, gas furnace, fridge, tv's, computers, window AC, etc. The only thing this will struggle with is Central AC.

HIGHLY recommend this inverter generator

Not inverter, but the absolute cheapest per watt I have found for a dual fuel gen.

This is not even near anywhere a 6500w generator. You guys.... I dont even know where to start. Sure this may be a good price compared to other places, but call it for what it is.

I'm not an expert but inverters in general lose like 40% of the power they invert. That said it looks like the inverter style generators can reduce the engine running speed if draw is lower so they might actually be more efficient. Maybe it evens out in regular use that way.

The big deal with these generators is that they're inverter generators AND they output 240v so you can power your house. This is one of maybe 5-8 other units that do this in the US Market.

Same experience. Zero issues running the mini splits. As a test, could do stove elements too.

Anyone advise how this stacks up to the Firman one from costco? Costco one is tri-gas.. so i know not apples to apples.

Reliance 306lrk 8k watt. You can find deals on eBay for $260 from ppl that buy in bulk and sell individually. They normally retail for $330

An interlock kit would be another option unless you specifically wanted a transfer switch.
