Up to 830 is because if you buy 12mini it will have trade in credit or only $730 and not $830 and it you buy 12pro or pro max then you will only get $830 and rest will be on you. That's what upto $830 means so yes iPhone 8 will get you upto $830 depending on the device you choose

Where is Costco? They use to have similar deal as Tmobile but not lately. Wonder if we didn't kill the golden goose by canceling "new line" after getting the rebate.

For those of you trying to get a phone from SWAPPA like a iPhone 8 or S9 series, make sure you do order from an individual seller where the item/images clearly display the listing number.

In that case it's a unique listing offer and the IMEI will be displayed on the sales page right after your purchase. If you order good quality or spend $10 more for mint you should be golden. Once purchased on the sales page you will see the serial number (IMEI):

If you order from an enterprise seller with generic images and none displays the unique listing number the IMEI will NOT show up and you may have to wait until they are back in the office on Monday and the deal could be over.

Shipping emails and text alerts from T-Mobile are coming out. Just got an email and text alert for 1 of my order. It's matching what UPS told me earlier.

Every email I got from tmobile has a donotreply email address.
Do you guys know what email to send to in order to change the device and IMEI that we are trading in. I'd rather send in an iphone 8 instead of my current iphone 11.

Which email we are talking about here ? I see all the emails coming back donotreply email so we can't use that to reply.
You guys are right. I just looked now and there isn't an email I can reply back to. I think I will just call back in a little bit to ask the 611 CS rep to update the IMEI number to the S9 on my account and see if that works (it should, I hope lol)

I just got off the phone with Tmobile. They said I cannot change the phone and IMEI that I am trading in. It will mess up the promo and I will not get the $830 credit at all.
Can anyone that got it done let us know how and who did you call or contacted? I dont want to screw up the promo and get cancelled or get no credit at all.

Has anyone had an issue when submitting the trade in request for one IMEI number (qualifying phone) and then trading in a different IMEI device (also qualifying phone)? I accidentally submitted the IMEI for a Note 10 for the $830 bill credits but have a S9 (also qualifies for $830 credits) that I want to trade in since the Note 10 is much nicer phone and I wanted to keep it as a spare. I spoke to 611 CS rep and they said its not a problem when I receive the iPhone 12 to send in an alternative IMEI device as long as it qualifies. Just want to check here to see if anyone has come across this scenario and has experience. Just don't want any hasels with the $830 credit.
are you 100% about that. A rep told me that won't work and I won't get the money.

chatting on t mobile app instead of 611 calling, save that chatting screenshot if they can approve your request . otherwise just send original one...

I just called 611 and spoke to a US based rep and she verified that the system will automatically update with the new IMEI number of the qualifying device when its sent back in. She made the notation on my account that she confirmed this in case questions arise later. She mentioned that she has seen this come up before and its not an issue, unless you send in a non-qualifying device (essentially bait and switch them) but she confirmed the S9 on my account qualifies. I think maybe you call back and re-explain to a new rep and ask them to confirm and notate it on your account so you have a fall back. Hope that helps!

Got the email from T-mobile and we can't see the order details. Called and chatted online several times and the rep said the order is not about trade in and credit. Should we sign?
