Read the reviews. It's a plastic housing and it could easily fail.

I have this in 128GB . The plastic housing will be falling in no time ( you can easily re attach it ) but it's a pain to do it everytime.

Sure it will fail if you keep it on a key chain and put it in the wash, but if you just use it on a computer it wil be fine. Whats important is the amount and speed of the storage, today most of these chips are pretty rugged, if enclosure fails who gives a shit you probably could use the thing without it and it would be fine.

Using a USB drive to extend storage for a computer isn't a great idea. It will kill the drive if you are using it that regularly. It's also going to be slow.

These do well in speed tests, but 30-60 seconds into a continuous file copy they tend to drop to 10MB/s. Overheating. I very much recommend Samsung Fit instead. It's more money and a weaker keychain hole, but it works way better.

I have the 128GB version of this. It's OK if you don't mind the slow write speed. It's blazing fast when you start copying files into it; but then it gets hot pretty quickly and the speed drops drastically.

The casing on mine broke. Still works but it's not going to last.... Terrible thin plastic.
And it gets really hot.
