One of the worst POS that you can buy. Consider the SanDisk Ultrafit to be one of the worst purchases I have ever made. Do your research. This is a truly bad product at any price.

Agreed. All ultra fit's I've purchased either go bad or are inconsistent, disconnecting regularly. Maybe their larger non-subcompact drives are better but these are trash.

SSD with SATA 3.0+ adapter is the way for RPi. Take a look at pi benchmark site for comparison. 256GB for $22 ($17 for 128gb), SATA adapter for $10.

One of my recent benchmarks:

Thanks, I actually did get a USB SATA adapter for the Pi with the recommended chipset and plan to use an old 80gb Intel drive with it. That alone is probably a good step above a flash drive I figure.

Just had one die on me. Great concept, poor implementation.

These small drives seem to fail at a higher rate.

I ended up using an old Kingston 120GB v300 that scores slightly lower than my Inland SSD for my second RPi4, probably paid over $150 for it back in the day. I forgot it was still in an old laptop that I no longer use.

Both SSDs are indistinguishable speed wise in real world usage. Definitely a huge step up from all of the MicroSDs I have tried in the RPi4. I also followed a guide to put the Chromium browser cache on Ram Disk, it made a big difference.
