These have a bad history of dying quickly. I had 2. They got super hot and finally died.

I ordered this and it arrived last week with the 3.2 (400mb/s), so I have no complaints.

Damn, I remember when this much flash memory cost $13,000,000 (buying memory cards for my first digital camera). Now it's $13.

Have you tried writing some larger files? Does it get hot?

FWIW, if you don't have Prime you now have to have $35 of stuff to get "free shipping".
Amazon quietly raised the $25 to $35 some time ago.

I had a smaller version of 2.0 a while back that used to get really hot and eventually died.

I have several 64gb version and they run uncomfortably hot, sometimes nearly burnt me. I would suggest avoid them, but YMMV

Been using the previous version as a torrent repository connected to RPi for last 7 yrs with reads/writes 24/7 - Absolutely no issues. Have heard these become hot but I am lucky so far. If it dies, nothing to lose in my case, so will buy couple of them anyways as spares. Thanks Op

$35 for free shipping is nothing, compared to GameStop which is $70.

I have it in my non-Tesla for over 3 years and it works perfectly! It might be a defective Tesla!
