I have this mobo, and I strongly dislike it. First off, there were spontaneous resets, which support was not helpful with whatsoever. They took RMA and sent me a replacement, which looked like it came from warzone. Heat sinks were dinged, screws lose, parts missing. Spontaneous resets keep going btw. I finally dug out a setting which would take care of reset issue, no thanks to support, but I still have compatibility issues with USB, unsatisfactory UEFI boot support, and buggy BIOS. I am not happy with this thing at all

If you keep getting resets with multiple boards, it might not be the board that is the faulty component.

Been looking at motherboards recently and saw good things about this board but everyone in this thread seems to have issues with it. So what's a better alternative in a similar price range?

I got mine and never had one issue with it yet. Everything worked perfectly. You probably just got a bad board or some other component compatibility issues.

You are going to get mixed reviews for everything unless u pay top notch for a premium one. But this works just as good and fast as one that is twice the price range. I haven't had any issues with this but most people have either bad boards or compatibility issues with other components. There's also those that install this using their carpet and not a hard surface. All that static electricity will damage your board causing it to not function properly.

If someone were selling a GPU like this, how much could they ask for on eBay or something? I have this: https://www.gigabyte.com/Graphics...XEB-8GD#kf

With the carry bag with it too. I saw that GPU prices were high and figured I could part with it for the time being.

People who are having reset issues either need to revert back to a old bios that has agea 1.1.9 or increase the SoC voltage to 1.125v. AMD did weird stuff to the PBO and Infinity Fabric for 1.2.0. What once was stable now takes more voltage.

Of course you lose re-size bar support, but at least the system wont randomly restart. It easisr to raise the voltage slightly. it was 1.0v before the update.

I have this motherboard. I'm happy. It overclocks ram at least as well as my ASRock Gaming 4 X570 did.

EDIT: Make sure to use Ryzen DRAM Calculator to get your RAM timings right or it will randomly crash/reset.
For me, take all means to avoid ASRock motherboards. Too high failure rate.

I have this Mobo running with a 5900x and 4x8gb 4400mhz @3800mhz cl14 without any problems. No reboots nothing. Sure the BIOS is not my thing when I am used to Asus. But its get the work done lime others were saying. I am happy with this little beast.

Yup, waited too long. Saw this earlier but had some things to do and wanted to read some reviews first.

Guys, here is a tip for anyone looking to buy x570 motherboards. As newegg shuffle bundles GPUs with motherboards, people typically get the bundle, keep the GPU and sell the motherboard in ebay as they dont need it. The selling price is $50 to $100 lower. I recently got a Gigabyte X570 Aorus Master for $280 (brand new) and this MB retails for $370 and never goes on sale. I believe now is a good time to see ebay if you are looking to buy a motherboard.

It is board. There's setting in bios which is default to on which runs CPU in some sort of "low power" mode. I don't have access to the computer in question, cannot tell exactly the setting name. With x5950 CPU this reliably leads to spontaneous reboots for no obvious reasons under no heavy load. I disabled this setting and reboots stopped.

I built my whole PC [pcpartpicker.com] based off this exact mobo and it all has been rock solid ever since.

I have just built my rig with this board and a 5800x.
Just changed ram to DOCP and running fine at 4x8gb DDR4 3600. I haven't gotten to overclock with the board as of yet.

Coming from Asus, the latest BIOS on this board is not pleasant to navigate. Not a deal breaker, just another learning curve. I've haven't seen any random resets. One plus I've seen is that windows can go to sleep and wake up normal now. On the Asus ROG strix X470 I'd have to hard reset my PC if it went to sleep.

I have the fans set to PWM and they are working as they should work. I've never seen the chipset fan turn on while gaming. I haven't run benchmarks to see if that would turn the chipset fan on.

USB ports seem to work fine for me with the latest BIOS update.

Overall, with the way it is running stock, I have no complaints. I'm going to guess most of the complaints world start one I start over locking.
