I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.

Also, for anyone wondering: I applied in branch. Banker had no idea about the 100k, he could only see 80k. I showed him the memo and he said he'd never seen that and it doesn't even look legit. He also didn't see the $50 grocery credit on his screen. Despite all that, I got the AF waived, $50 grocery credit, and 100k bonus (shown as 80k + 20k).

I think you can all safely apply in branch and not even mention the offer. The banker doesn't have to anything, obviously, since mine didn't.

Just stopped at a branch. No go! Only give you 80k points, but do waive af and $50 grocery credit

Well. Did you bother READING some of the responses? There is a thread search feature too. It takes a couple days for the tracker to show up even in the mobile app. Put on your big boy pants and READ. OR, get lectured by the grumpy. Your choice.

No. He is not. This is the FIRST time Chase has had the tracker. I am a first timer here myself too. BUT. I did read all the posts ALL pages too. This missing tracker thing is on every other page of the thread if not on all of them.

Pretty much, yeah. Chase isn't a franchise or anything. All of their branches are under the same corporate umbrella and computer systems. It's just that some of the individual bankers actually are more diligent about reading their emails and are more informed than others so that's where the large variance comes from. However, they're all doing the same deals in the same computer systems, most likely.

If you secure message them and the person answering is on the ball, their current canned response says any in-branch apps between June 3 and July 17 will get the 80k+20k offer. And we have multiple independent data points in this thread confirming that so far. Past that date, no one knows yet. It could stay at 100k and extend for a while or drop back to a lower number.

Also to the other person, sorry but they changed Sapphire limits from 24 months to 48 months a few years ago.
