I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

i wish I had that number right away.... Auto message via email says 3-5 business day, but it actually is taking 5-10 business days for me. 9\2 i got instantly approved for 22k limit spending with in 30 sec. keep in mind that information from automatic email duration is WRONG!!! the first time card member can take up to 3-5 business days to processing the card and another 3-5 business days to send it to the regular mail without the tracking number! so please call ASAP to expedite the processing service which can reduced down the wait time to 1-2 business!
I downgraded my CSR on 9/7 and just checked my Chase portal and see the CSP as an option to "Open an Account." It wasn't available for a few days but I see it now. Does that mean it's safe to apply and the Sapphire has been cleared from my account?
If you apply in branch, get denied because CSR still shows on acct, and then call recon, do you have to reapply, or recon can just approve and fee still waived because you initiated in branch? Or is it be more likely that the bank rep wont file the app when they see you are not eligible?
I am thinking I may have to the referral route and apply online - if splitting with friend , is 10k points worth $100 or $125 - Id rather not do it this way, its not that I dont trust his intention, I think he is a bit discombobulated and I'll have to bug him to check if he got the points but he is only one I know that has CSP
Is there an expiration by the way, I read earlier in thread that it was 8/27 but apparently it was extended
You don't need to reapply as long as the application is still being within 30 days. Each application will associate with an unique application number, and so does your in-branch application. When you contact Recon, they pull up your recent application to review. When they approve the application, that particular in-branch application with the unique application number will automatically waive the AF.
If it is more than 30 days since the application date, you will have to re-apply again because your consent to Chase accessing your credit report will have expired.
Chase has never made any official announcement about the end date. They increased the offer to 100K points in early June, and credit card welcome offers typically last anywhere from a few weeks to a few months until the budget of the promotion runs out, so it is best to act sooner if you're interested in this deal.

I'm seeing the same thing. Would love to know if I can apply for the CSP now
Quick Question:
I have a meeting scheduled at a branch in less than 2 hours. When people talk about the branch ability to look up my profile, I don't have a bank account. Just the Chase Freedom card which was previously a CSR until last week.
Do I have to have a bank account or is a credit card sufficient for them to look up my "profile" to see if I am eligible for CSP Bonus?

Thanks again. I'm just thinking if I go next Friday and rep tells me he still sees my CSR, he won't even take an application so there will be nothing for recon to pull up. I can try guest app but earlier posts claim branch agents refused. So if fails and I want to start an app by next weekend, I might have to go online and get hit with AF.
No worry. You are already a Chase customer when you have any Chase product, and thus will have a customer profile with Chase. It doesn't need to be a bank account. Just bring your Chase credit card and a proof of your identity such as a driver's license.

I applied two days ago after PCing my CSR a week ago. Got denied and called recon today. They told me the reason why i didn't get it is because I already received similar offer before but it has been 5yrs since I got the bonus.
Anyways, is it better to try the application again online using my sister's referral or just go to the branch?
Hmm I'm in the same predicament as you but have not cancelled my csr yet..
Went into branch and each associate mentions there are no additional promotion while applying in person virus applying online so therefore they try to force me to apply online... has this happened to anybody else as well?
Today, I went to the branch and gave them my chase cc and credit card. They looked up my account to see if I was Pre-Approved for CSP. I was not. He was new to the branch. Is this what the bank is supposed to look for in my profile? or Did he look up the wrong thing?
Thanks in advance.
