Oh, yeah... if you're looking for ways to spend money, just pick up a "free" kitten. If you're lucky, you can end up paying 3 grand in vet bills in the first month of ownership ... plus cat food ... kitty snacks ... cat litter ... cat deodorizer ... bed ... kennel ... toys ... food and water dishes ... scratching post ... etc. ... like me!

You can get Visa/MC from one of the groceries store and load it up. I think it will show up as groceries. Unless Chase flag a $2k spend at a grocery store for fraud or something.

Assuming that you previously set up your online Chase account, you can navigate to the Ultimate Rewards portal from your credit card account page (see attached image).
As to redeeming for gift cards, after clicking the menu icon in step 3, select "Gift Cards". You can choose from a wide assortment of gift cards from the available choices, including Amazon Gift Cards. However, redemption is usually 1 cents per point. Your 100K bonus points would only be worth $1,000, not $1,250.
You also have the option of redeeming the points for cash, either as a statement credit or as a deposit to your financial institution at a penny a point. Again, your 100K bonus points would be worth $1,000.
If you have already earned the bonus, you also have the option of redeeming points under the Pay Yourself Back program at 1.25 cents per point until September 30.
