In the past the kit shipped parts in separate orders to comprise the 14 pieces. So they did an 8 piece kit, 2 orders of two contact sensors, keypad, motion sensor. You could return a part of the order for a partial refund

how long is the keypad battery life if run on battery? I don't like its usb powered since usually this is placed near the entrance door (to replace adt panel e.g.) which is hardwired inside the wall...

I replaced the Ring keypads with my existing ones and used a converter to keep the keypad powered on.

Oh no, I just removed my existing keypad and replaced it with a Ring one instead. I also installed the Ring Retrofit Kit to be able to use all my wired sensors and no longer needed my old system anymore.

How much will I get back if i return all the extra pieces

Is $50 keypad, $30 each motion sensor, $20 each contact sensor. Total $150? Would that really work

I got the 14pcs few months ago . here is the list , one 8psc kit $134.15 , one keypad $33.53, two "2pk Contact Sensor" is $26.83 , one Motion Detector $20.12

I would guess they will calculate each piece by % sales.

Like the Ring Wired Doorbell I bought last time, it was $100 with the echo but sale for $45, they quote me returning the echo will refund $17.99 to me instead of $30, so it's 55% off original price.
