Yes, the video signal to the base can be jammed. I worked a home invasion case out of Bowling Green where the burglars wore backpacks with jammers and disrupted the video signal (though not completely).

Good deal. I'm using everything except the base as sensors with a z-wave dongle in home assistant and they work great!

Nice. How did you set up monitoring with the home assistant? Does the entry keypad work as well?

I use alarmo in home assistant and there's a blueprint out there that you can download to get the keypads work easier. We're just self monitoring ATM.

It does have cellular backup whenever the power goes out.

Wow, that's very sophisticated for a home invasion. What was the purpose of jamming the cameras if the people were already home - just wear ski masks if hiding your identity is the issue, right?

easier to just cut the internet cables on the outside of the house.
often on the side of the house and exposed.

Easier to wack off the power to the house. Then jam all wifi signals. Internet cables are usually not exposed and shouldn't be.

How else do they enter the house? They typically go up a wall to a few feet above the ground and then goes in the exterior wall.
A lot of times they're just on the side of the house and outside the fence. sometimes they'll put a thin pvc pipe over the cable.

It really depends honestly. But then again, im in the western part of the country and in a urban area. Typically, cable connections go back to a street node which is a locked box to the ISP. YMMV

Could be all differnt depending on area, neighborhood, isp and what medium the connection is (fiber, coax, copper etc.)

how does the cable exit your house? underground or overhead out the roof?

Buyer beware, the only compatible smoke+carbon monoxide alarms are faulty and will send you false alarms of fire in your house. I exchanged 6 of them and would still get calls when nobody was home and nothing was happening. They kept offering to replace them, but they aren't reliable. Ring does have alarm listeners if you want to go that way though.
