No you won't. Assuming you are a casual user, you can buy the base 64gb version and get the 50gb icloud for a buck a month for a total 114gb. Even if you get rid of the ipad in 4 years, you'd have paid only $50 extra for the icloud subscription over that time, rather than spending the $100 or more upfront for a higher gb version

The Air is available with either 64GB or 256GB of storage. If you want to get 128GB of storage, you would need to get the Pro 11" (or 12.9"). Are you recommending that folks go with the Air 256GB or the Pro 11" 128GB?

Good point. Some are at 7% and would be paying the extra 2%. Maybe not worth the trouble.

The census seems to be that the Air may not be worth getting if you are casual user over the base model 8th gen . Performance-wise it's negligible. Yes, you get a slightly better and larger screen, compatibility with newer pencil and keyboard and some other small improvements like camera ( doesn't anybody really take pictures with their iPad? ) for $200 more. Just something to consider. Also base model has 128gb option which is more than plenty storage for most people. I think 64gb should be the minimum but of course Apple is playing marketing games offering a 32gb option to make you step up to 128gb.

But I think buying it directly from Apple by bundling it with Target Apple gift card deal and at least get $50 in Target Gift cards + free AirPods might be a better deal...

Could always sell the Airpods...
