Non-gamer here. Is this overkill for basic productivity & web browsing. No movies, beyond a few YouTube videos here and there. Currently have a 27" 9 year old Dell monitor. Looking to move to a 32".

Looking at this monitor - or the Acer (Model ET322QU) from Costco at $209 https://www.costco.com/acer-32%22...11548.html

What do yall think about using this with a PS5.

I know PS5 doesn't support 1440p, but it would just down scale from 4K I guess?
Looks like it supports up to 144hz through HDMI, so I could play warzone on 120hz in down scaled 4k?

Does that sound right?

I ordered this yesterday morning and it just came a couple hours ago. It's marvelous. I had the 32" 1080p LG monitor from Costco that I purchased last year and I jumped on that price $139 because I wouldn't feel guilty on upgrading when I found a good deal. Here it is boys.

I use it mostly for work and some gaming, but for work...its so crisp. Gaming is WOW. I know there are better monitors out there, but it's pure eye candy jumping up in resolution from my old one. The details on the games is insane...I can totally see the threads on the characters gloves. And the game just looks sharper and brighter...I can see why people snub their nose at 1080p on a 32".
