If you bought the 10% off Lowe's gift card from Newegg, you can get Lowes to price match against Amazon to get this for about $90. Lowe's price is $179.

I had read some old threads before posting- and it seems home depot has been out of stock a while (so who knows if it is ever coming back). They currently have the 'tool only [homedepot.com]" for $99
Still two of these on shelf that I will give as birthday gifts to 'close' family members, pre-Christmas this kit was $99 at Lowes minus military discount that just about covers the sales tax. Today, this is a good deal....

The consensus seems to be that XR is better than Atomic. The two multi tools are virtually identical but the XR may have longer wear.
The other difference is the rpm and speed selector switch. The XR has a 3 speed selector. The Atomic does not have this switch.
XR Oscillations/min 0-13,000/0-17,000/1-20,000 OPM
Atomic 0 OPM to 18,000 OPM
