The second reason at least makes some sense. The first is crazy. I use my credit cards a lot, 1-3k a month but don't cary a balance.

That's fairly standard with CC points across most....if not all issuers.
And now has an ongoing rewards transfer with 1.5x towards your saphire preferred points to convert to your marriot card points

I received the same thing at 815 credit score... Reconsideration line didn't help at all
