Got one for myself last month and it's been a pretty good unit. No complaints so far.
I put together a 3/8" barb to 3/4" FHT adapter, 3/8" inner diameter braided tubing (doesn't have to be braided) and a tube clamp so I wouldn't need to screw a 3/4" garden hose directly to the drain connector on the back of the dehumidifier. See attached pic.

I wouldn't order this off bestbuy.com, definitely get it in store so they can give you a replacement or store credit if it breaks. My insignia product broke, and they wanted me to pack and ship it back to best buy for warranty. That cost was higher then the product.
At my previous house, I had the dehumidifier in the basement (man cave TV room) and the hose went to a drain hole in the far corner.
At my current house, there is not basement because it's a single story 3-bedroom house. There are no drain holes on the floor. I've been trying to come up with a solution for that, instead of emptying the humidifier water bottle manually...
Thanks!
You want to get a condensation pump (like on a furnace) and drain it into that. (Little Giant is a good brand but it probably doesn't really matter.). Then get 50' or so of tubing and run that from your condensation pump to your laundry drain or utility sink or whatever.
This is most certainly the Danby rebranded. I have it and it looks exactly the same.
The Danby has internal pump bought 2 at Costco last week. Come with its own hose 16 ft I think. I have mine in washer drain. Danby has 2 yr carry in warranty.

Wow this doesn't have a pump? That makes it a way worse deal. Also does your pump completely drain yours? Mine seems to just kinda skim the top.

When you have the hose hooked up and the pump light is on no water goes in the bucket it is automatically pumped through the pump I never get any water in my bucket

You might be right. Although the written function descriptions below the buttons on the Insignia unit do seem a lot more intuitive. It's a must for operation by the Boomers in my family.
Think I also saw something in the Danby thread or Costco reviews about needing to move the pump arm out of the way to get the water drawer closed or something? I could have misunderstood. The Insignia of course has no pump.

I believe the Danby deal is dead. Online, it's back up to normal price $170 or $180). Has anyone been to a warehouse to see if it's still on sale there?

You should get one with a pump feature. It will let you run a hose anywhere, including up into a sink or over the edge of a bath.
This is almost certainly the Danby rebranded. I have it and it looks exactly the same.
I have both units and can confirm it is a rebranded product. I bought the insignia one last year in April and it no longer dehumidifies (where the fan is constantly running but not collecting any moisture). So I got the Danby one on sale at costco last week and when I opened the box, I thought to myself "this machine looks awefully familiar". I placed them side by side and yup, same machine. Difference is, the Danby one has a pump built it so I can pump the drain upward (to a sink or something) where the Insignia one does not. I didnt have a good experience on the durability of the Insignia and I have a feeling I will expect the same from the Danby one too.

At least the danby has a 2 year carrying in warranty. Most The Times you're lucky if you can get 2 years out of these before they start failing
