Price is the same as it has been, but the feet are helpful, and $150 in visa giftcard, making this one of the better G1 deals I've seen. Free Shipping, 45 day returns. don't fall for the warranty claim, that is LGs standard panel warranty on the G1; they aren't giving you anything extra there.

Free With Purchase (Total Value: $246.99):
LG AN-GXDV55 OLED GX Series Stand and Backcover for 55" (2020) ($96.99)
Visa $100 Gift Card (Allow 2 -4 weeks for delivery) (Incentive Only, Not for Resale) ($100.00)
Visa $50 Gift Card (Allow 2-4 weeks for delivery) (Incentive Only, Not for Resale) ($50.00)

The 65" version is actually a slightly better deal here since it comes with $250 in VISA GCs, which is a slightly higher percentage of the purchase price for that one (8.9% for the 65" vs 7.5% for the 55").

This or Sony a80j?

I dunno -- if you want a good gaming experience, the LG TVs are the clear choice since they support all of the new fancy HDMI 2.1 features like ALLM, 4K 120Hz, VRR, and Dolby Vision 120hz while gaming (Xbox Series X). The Sony currently doesn't support most of those, though may in the future via a firmware update. The G1 has the "evo" panel which makes it (slightly) brighter, but reviewers say it doesn't make a significant difference. Though, I've heard the 77" A80J uses the same panel (though I don't know if it's going to be as bright).

That said, I think the Sony is supposed to have slightly better image quality for general TV usage, and some people may prefer built-in Android TV over LG's WebOS.

Upon a bit more research i went with the c1 65 inch. It is being used for my home theater viewing currently but it's going into my game room. I've deciding to replace my home theater TV with the a80j 77in model. My research also led me to... the a80j and the c1(at least later production models) come with the evo 1 panel. I just need screws to mount this sucker... not sure of the size required by the c1 but it definitely don't match up with the tv it's replacing.

As I'm sure you've seen in your research, the C1 requires you to go into the service menu to take advantage of the Evo panel. I'm not sure about the AJ80 already having the added brightness. And if not, I'm not sure if it's even possible to go into the service menu to take advantage of the Evo panel
