Personal preference here, but until this thing drops to about $50 or $60, I'm just not really going to strongly consider it. I can reliably snag the Firestick 4k at $25 to $30 every month or so, and it handles the IPTV, sideloaded streaming apps, and everything else I throw at it. This is an upgrade from a snappiness / performance standpoint, but it isn't worth about 4x as much as the Firestick 4k (at least to me.)

The main advantage is RF blaster that can be used to control an extended setup. Sound bar or blu-ray player, that can't be controlled over the HDMI.
I think it includes the dongle that would enable ethernet. I think you can buy that same dongle and us it for a stick, though. It changes the cost calculus if you want ethernet.
for what it's worth, the fire os for streaming devices…sucks. lots of reports of constant problems w/apps needing to have their caches cleared (or apps that must get force stopped), weird netflix loading issues (video stops loading altogether at 20% but the audio starts anyway), etc etc

I have about 5 and use all the time and never had any issues
