"Product Features:
Data transfer rates up to 5 Gbps with USB 3.0"
I really wish manufacturers could not list the full theoretical speed like that. It's like saying the windshield of a Nisan Versa is capable of 500mph speeds.
How are these drives compared to the WDc element drives?
I think they are inferior, but I don't really know (this one got really good reviews if those can be believed). I picked up a 6TB Elements from Newegg for $100 back on the 15th, which I think was a better deal. A similar deal will probably come along soon. Apparently WD is a good brand now.

Apparently wd is a good brand now? Where have you been? Curious. Wd has always been a good brand. Seagate is the one who has always been a poop show

This one is 5tb 2.5in easystore. Unlike 6tb 3.5in elements. Not really comparable.

Update: for context purchased Nov 21, 2018 for $79 and came with a 32GB flash drive. It has gotten hundreds of hours of use.
