This is very hit or miss as far as condition it is in when you have it shipped. I got one a few months ago with one small ding on the side. Others arrive not usable. It may be prudent to pick up, where available and if you have the means.

I have a thermometer in the freezer, and on the medium setting, it runs about -5 F in case anyone is interested. It is more consistent temp then my $2000 LG fridge/freezer.

It's not. Had to return mine because after it failed in my garage during the spring I was told it needs to be kept above 70 degrees for it to work by the manufacturer

Freezer only units are meant to deep freeze items and will maintain the below freezing temperature as constistenly as possible. Ones set in environments exposed to the outside temps like those in garages, barns, sheds, can't do as good a job as they sometimes have to fight harder to cool and risk freezing up the heat exchanger in humid environments.
