Chromebooks have inferior speakers, build quality and keyboards, have no Touch ID, are typically lower resolution, run on relatively hot and weak Intel processors at best, have relatively short battery life and I believe are generally limited to running web browsers and what are basically Android apps. And user privacy is not a thing.

PSA, you can get the Macbook Air M1 for $850 + Airpods or get the Macbook Air M1 with student discount for $750.

Source: I asked an associate at BB when I bought my M1 last week. However, YMMV. My BB is in Dallas.
