I ended up just calling. The same scenario almost happened except when I did the "do u suggest…" he said he'll put me on hold and ask his supervisor for a one time exception. It worked, he credited me the diff.
Keep trying I guess if the person you spoke to hardballed you.
I was worried when it said if I canceled I wouldn't be eligible for the discount in the future.
I might pick up the $750 order and after it's all set cancel the other one.
