To me, this is the toughest part of recommending a Chromebook. A lot of the time, there's simply one or two things a person wants or needs a native Windows app if they're asking this question. I will happily recommend a Chromebook as a person's 2nd computer (e.g. they have a desktop at home and want something simple, fast, and portable).
If you were to buy this, I think you'd be very happy with the build quality, form factor, and speed of the device. The simplicity of ChromeOS can be a double-edged sword for some. I think it's great, but again, some people want a fuller OS experience. What I can't answer is if there's a specific use case where you may run into an issue due to not having a specific Windows application.
Overall, this is a very good price on a well-regarded device. If I were in the market, I'd consider it.

I absolutely LOVE this laptop!
The screen is excellent
Battery life is Litterally Tripple my Inspiron 7373.
Backlit Keyboard feels nicer than my inspiron
The laptop didn't come with books or a charger but I already had a couple.
Plus all shows are on netflx/hulu, music is spotify. Chromebooks are usually lighter as well and 2in1. I use android so my photos are at google photos, files at gdrive.
A good windows ultrabook goes for 800++, a premium chromebook is like 600, ans this is on sale at 425

Check Lenovo and reddit forums on the Flex 5 hinge system. Not a good design!
We bought the Acer Spin to replace it on a previous deal and it's been great so far.
... snipped ...
Among the Flex 5 reviews at Costco was one from a guy who already had one whose right hinge had broken and shattered the screen. He said Lenovo told him that was not covered under warranty because it was misuse of the product. And apparently because Lenovo wouldn't cover it Costco also would not cover it.
I have a feeling mine is going back to Costco. And now I'm on the fence with this one.

For the 180 degree fold, I'm not sure if it's flat all the way through the bending process (might need to find a video of the bend). I had it in the past and used it in laptop, tablet, and tent mode just fine.
For those wondering if you like Chrome OS this might not be the machine to try it on, but we pretty much only use Chromebooks at home, while having Windows and Mac at work. Pretty much all the stuff we do is in the web, and Chrome also has Android and Linux support, and this i5 model technically has parallels support.
This is a great machine, besides the terrible speakers, and 50/50 metal:plastic build. I also didn't care for the battery life (6 hours SoT refurb) and "downgraded" to a Pixelbook Go for the speakers, battery, and build. This machine has a better keyboard, great 3:2 screen, and is blazing fast. Great productivity but only so-so for media consumption.
